** During ''Wildflower''s [[DevelopmentHell long, tumultuous creation process]], it went through a smattering of different directions. When it was reported in 2005, the band described it as "ambient WorldMusic", but by 2007, they had produced around 40 different tracks that had instead leaned towards HipHop. Around 2013, the band also got involved in producing and making the score for an accompanying feature-length animated film of the same name, described as "the hip hop version of ''WesternAnimation/YellowSubmarine''", said to feature classic cel animation style by an undisclosed artist from South Korea and drawing influences from [=1960s=] Japanese pop art. The film eventually fell through due to lack of funds two years in, but some of its soundtrack made it onto the final album, namely "The Noisy Eater".

** ''We Will Always Love You'' was originally set to be titled "Pink Champagne" (one of the songs on the final album retains the title) and was to feature a photo of an exploding nebula as the cover, but they changed their minds as they felt it sounded too much like Music/{{Drake}}.

The King Kong thing was a stage musical local to Australia during that time, a separate thing from Wildflower.

* TroubledProduction: ''Wildflower'' had a pretty long production. The project was announced in 2005 and almost forty tracks were made, but the project was abandoned in 2007. It resumed in 2011, but was stalled for 3 years due to member Robbie Chater suffering from illness. The group also spent their time trying to make music for an animated Franchise/KingKong movie that ended up being cancelled (remnants of their work can be heard on the album). Production was able to get back up in 2014, and the album was released in 2016 to rave reviews and commercial success.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: ''Since I Left You'' was originally going to be a ConceptAlbum, but the group eventually scrapped the idea.

''Since I Left You'' was originally going to be a ConceptAlbum, but featuring a love story about "a guy following a girl around the world and always being one port behind," with the cosmopolitan sourcing of records reflecting his travels. The group eventually scrapped the idea.idea as they decided they shouldn't make their themes too obvious.
