* ScrewedByTheLawyers: Like ''VideoGame/{{Darkstalkers}}'', it has yet to see a re-release. Apparently there was some legal trouble with the voice actors and musicians that is holding things up. Specifically, they are entitled to royalties from any future version of the game, but Capcom has lost touch with a good number of them (and some have stopped working in the industry altogether, and [[Creator/KanetoShiozawa at least one of them dead]]). The [=PSOne=] Classics re-release necessitated Capcom having to [[http://andriasang.com/con02g/rival_schools_psn/ contact a number of companies]] to renegotiate those rights; some of those companies aren't even the original owners of these sounds and voices.

* RelationshipVoiceActor:
** Batsu's, Hinata's and Tiffany's voice actors each fill roles similar to the those they voice in ''Anime/GaoGaiGar'': Creator/NobuyukiHiyama is the male lead, Creator/TomoeHanba is the love interest, and Miki Narahashi is the GorgeousGaijin.
** Once again, Hiyama finds himself facing off against Creator/TakashiNagasako (Gan and Boman), although this time the stakes aren't as high as they were in ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaOcarinaOfTime''.
** Creator/KotonoMitsuishi (Kyoko) finds out she's [[Franchise/SailorMoon the reincarnation of Princess Serenity]]. Among her companions is a mysterious cat voiced by Creator/KeikoHan (Yurika) and a gender-bending Narumi Tsunoda (Natsu). Oddly enough, one of the villains she has to fight is another violinist voiced by Han.
