* HeyItsThatGuy: In "Jimmy," Mr. Blonde got his start harassing retarded dockworkers before working his way up to cutting off cops' ears.
** In "Evil Leaper II: Return", NeilPatrickHarris is a frat boy.
** Willie Garson appears twice in the series, so Mozzie wrote detective novels in the 50s and shot JFK.
** Sam leaps into (eventual) veteran voice actor Creator/ScottMenville in "The Camikazi Kid." As far as history is concerned, Lloyd Irving
** In "What Price, Gloria?", the mousey NiceGuy on the double date is Creator/GreggBerger - aka Grimlock, Odie, Duckman Cornfed, The Pain, and others.
** Susan Mayer appeared as Donna, Sam's fiancee who jilted him at the alter (and who he actually married, having changed the timeline - in the changed timeline she became Patsy Mayo).
** Speaking of Series/DesperateHousewives, Bree Vanderkamp turns up as a PsychoLesbian who kills a girl who rejects her for a man.
** Lucy Camden plays a hostage in a season five episode.
** And of course, Captain Archer and Brother Cavil/Number One are the main characters.
** In "Mirror Image," D-Day is the bartender who's more than he seems. He's also Weird Ernie from "Genesis".
** A young Rachel Green plays a hospital volunteer in "Nowhere to Run."
** Spencer Hastings and Ishi Nakamura can see Sam as Sam in "Another Mother" and "Temptation Eyes" respectively (and on the soundtrack album version of Dean Stockwell's "Alphabet Rap" from "Shock Theater" - which is thankfully very, very different from the TV version - Spencer is one of the children singing backup).
** Carth Onasi and Kaidan Alenko is/are one of the frat boys in "Animal Frat."
** Tackleberry appears as a Sherriff in "Southern Comforts.
** Carol is being escorted by Sam and with whom he has BelligerentSexualTension when he leaps into a BountyHunter.
** Joe is one of the [=SEALs=] in "The Leap Home Part II: Vietnam". Cassandra appears in the same episode
** Mercy shows up as a StrawFeminist in "Liberation".
** Also applies behind the scenes as well:
** Debbie Allen directed two episodes. Allen is best known for playing Lydia Grant in Film/Fame as well as serving as the principal creative force for Series/ADifferentWorld from its second season on.
** Ivan Dixon directed an episode. Dixon is best known for playing James Kinchloe on Series/HogansHeroes.
** Richard C. Okie wrote six episodes. Okie is best known for co-creating Series/MajorDad.
* HeyItsThatVoice: In "Memphis Melody"TheOneWhere Sam leaps into Elvis, the female singer Sam has to help is played by a young MaryElizabethMcGlynn.
** In the Mexican Spanish dub, Sam is The Genie and Lafarga and Al is Tigger, Apocalymon and Adolf Hitler. Due of the popularity of the series in Mexico, it was also their breakout role for both voice actors. Hilariously enough, they reunite years later in the dub of Manga/Naruto as Obito Uchiha and Hiruko respectively, both being members of Akatsuki and the bad guys respectively.

Added DiffLines:

** Or not, as according to the Starlog publication 100 Years of Science Fiction the plan was for Bakula to leap into the body of Tom Selleck as he filmed the series, not the character.

Added DiffLines:

** Another planned leap that was never produced would have had Sam enter the body of ... a cartoon character?

* In the second season finale, "M.I.A.", the tearjerker ending has Al sitting with his wife, who thinks him dead, as she listens to "Unchained Melody" by the Righteous Brothers. She then switches to "Georgia On My Mind" by Ray Charles, and begins dancing alone, and Al joins her as best he can in his hologram form. Briefly, just as the leap occurs, she senses him with her. This scene, particularly with the use of Unchained Melody, may seem to have been heavily inspired by Ghost, but in fact aired May 9 1990, 2 months before Ghost's July 1990 release.

** Carolyn Seymour plays Priscilla in "A Portrait for Troian"
and begins dancing alone, and Al joins her as best he can in his evil hologram form. Briefly, just Zoe in Season 5. The series can actually get around the similarity in this instance because (aside for brief moments) Sam and Al never see what Zoe looks like.
** "Mirror Image" is partially built on this trope, with Sam encountering people that look like ones from previous leaps -- John D'Aquino (Tonchi for Frank) and Richard Herd (Ziggy for Moe Stein). Notably, while Bruce [=McGill=] played both Weird Ernie and Bartender Al, Sam doesn't notice any familiarity.
** Willie Garson appears in "Play It Again, Seymour"
as the leap occurs, she senses him with her. This scene, particularly with titular Seymour and in "Lee Harvey Oswald" as Oswald.
** Olivia Burnette plays
the use older daughter of Unchained Melody, may seem to have been heavily inspired by Ghost, but Sam's housewife leapee in fact aired May 9 1990, 2 months before Ghost's July 1990 release. "Another Mother" and Sam's sister Katie in "The Leap Home".
** Charles Rocket plays Michael Blake in "A Little Miracle" and Commander Riker in "A Leap for Lisa".
** Sloan Fisher plays the man in the mirror that Sam has leaped into in "How the Tess Was Won" and later the same season plays a stagehand in "Blind Faith."

** Sam leaps into a lot of musicians and dancers, the better to showcase Scott Bakula's impressive musical chops.
** Dean Stockwell also had opportunities now and then, such as when Al showed Sam how to dance at a Jewish wedding.
** And then there was the episode where Al rapped...
