* BannedEpisode: The pilot episode "Inherit the Wheeled" (the episode where a school camping trip is canceled out of concern for Pelswick's safety) never aired in America. This was supposedly because Creator/{{Nickelodeon}} found a scene where Pelswick imagines himself rolling away from a wolf and a fire in the woods before having his wheelchair hit a log and getting eaten by a bear to be too disturbing and violent.

* SameContentDifferentRating: In an incredibly bizarre move, in early 2021 reruns of the show were added to the Canadian version of Creator/AdultSwim with a ''14+'' rating (despite it chiefly being a kids' show). Additionally, Creator/{{Nelvana}}'s official distribution catalogue places it among their adult content, alongside all of the ''actually'' adult-aimed cartoons they've made.

** The series got even worse treatment during its Saturday morning run on Creator/{{CBS}} as part of its Nickelodeon-themed block, as it only lasted '''two months''' before the show’s timeslot was taken over by '''coverage from NFL games'''.
