* FandomLifeCycle: You can make an argument for every stage from 4 on.
** Stage 4 "large and organized," without a doubt. Sites like ''Blog/EquestriaDaily'' and Platform/FimfictionDotNet are still running strong, and fan artists are still making things left and right.
** Stage 5 (sufficiently ingrained in contemporary culture for even the people not familiar with it to know a lot about it). The fanbase has been referenced on ''Series/SaturdayNightLive'' (not positively, mind you, but then no "nerdy" thing ever is), ''Series/TheColbertReport'', ''Series/TheDailyShowWithJonStewart'', and so on, and the general populace are aware that bronies exist. Andy Price, one of the comic artists, [[http://www.syfy.com/syfywire/the-secrets-of-the-my-little-pony-fandom makes an argument that MLP is still in this stage in a "Fandom Files" podcast.]]
** Stage 6: While 2012-2015 is largely considered to be the "golden age", with 2015 being the year in which convention attendance and fan activity was the highest, it is hard to deny that the fandom as a whole has changed. Whether that be for better or for worse remains to be seen, but there are arguments for a Stage 6 existence. Many would argue that the fandom started to decline while the show was still running, with many bronies during this period "losing the spark" and leaving the fandom. Soon, several conventions began closing their doors permanently (including flagship con [=BronyCon=], closing in 2019), a sign that representation was dwindling. By the time the show actually ended in 2019, the Brony fandom was already a shell of its former self, with many remaining fans jumping ship to Generation 5 with the 2021 release of the movie ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyANewGeneration'' (which led to a brief albeit notable resurgence in the fandom). While G4 continues to attract new fans, the Brony fandom as a whole currently has nowhere near the relevance that it had during its heyday.

** Derpy, Mane Goodall, Babs Seed, and Photo Finish are voiced by the same man in the Hungarian dub.

* TheOtherDarrin:
** Spitfire's one line during her debut as an unnamed Wonderbolt in "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS1E16SonicRainboom Sonic Rainboom]]" [[https://twitter.com/goldenrusset/status/281459773394808832 is]] provided by Creator/NicoleOliver instead of her usual VA Kelly Metzger, who wasn't cast as Spitfire [[https://twitter.com/angelheadhipstr/status/281248563026067456 until]] "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS1E26TheBestNightEver The Best Night Ever]]".
** Background ponies generally have different voices from episode to episode, even when they're consistently named (as with Rose, who's been addressed by name in "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS1E9BridleGossip Bridle Gossip]]" and "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS2E18AFriendInDeed A Friend in Deed]]"). These voice changes were especially noticeable in the case of [[AllThereInTheScript Sweetie Drops]]/[[AllThereInTheScript Bon Bon]]; she has had speaking parts in seven different episodes in the early seasons, and her voice had been different all seven times. Once "Slice of Life" aired in Season 5 aired, Andrea Libman voiced her from then on.
** With the exceptions of the Creator/{{Gameloft}} app, Creator/TheHub's commercials for the show itself, and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xagAcw6D6dc the app's trailer]], anything outside of the show that requires voice acting (toy commercials, talking toys, the live show, etc.) and isn't using audio ripped from the show itself doesn't use the original voice actors. Creator/TaraStrong has said she'd be more than willing to voice any and all Twilight Sparkle toys, seeing as she's voiced toys before.
** The season 6 premiere had Twilight and Shining Armor's voice actors (Tara Strong and Andrew Francis) also voicing their parents in a cameo. Their expanded roles in the season 7 episode "Once Upon A Zeppelin" have them voiced by Patricia Drake and Charlie Demers.
** Pipsqueak was voiced by William Lawrenson in his first appearance, and Graham Verchere in later appearances.
** Princess Luna in the Japanese dub was voiced by Creator/YumiUchiyama in the second episode but was voiced by Creator/TakakoHonda, the voice of Nightmare Moon, in "Luna Eclipsed".
** In the Italian dub:
*** Spitfire has three different voice actresses: Debora Morese (Princess Luna and Diamond Tiara) voiced her in "Sonic Rainboom" and "The Best Night Ever", Gea Riva (Silver Spoon, Derpy and Daring Do) took the role in "Hurricane Fluttershy" and Tania De Domenico (Spike) is her current voice since "Wonderbolts Academy".
*** Big [=McIntosh=] was voiced by Mario Scarabelli up to Season 4, then Diego Baldoin replaced him in Season 5.
*** Starlight Glimmer was voiced by Creator/DeboraMagnaghi in her first appearance, but Beatrice Caggiula replaced her starting from the Season 5 finale.
*** In Season 7, Camilla Gallo was replaced as Rarity by Chiara Francese. Camilla Gallo came back in Season 8.
*** In Season 8, Tiziana Martello replaces Donatella Fanfani as Pinkie Pie's voice.
** The Romanian dub seemingly changes everyone's voice actor in between seasons. Alina Leonte (Spike) was the only major character who wasn't recast. However; Corina Cernea, Paul Zurbau, Florian Silaghi, Gabriela Codrea, Anca Sigmirean, Sorin Ionescu, and Anda Tămășanu also appeared in all nine seasons. In Season 4, for example, Spitfire was voiced by [[CrossdressingVoices a man]], after being voiced by women in the first 3 seasons.
*** And don't forget about the Romanian dubs of Equestria Girls movies which were done in Bucharest by Fast Production Film (instead of Oradean BTI Studio which did the series)
** The Hungarian dub is also a revolving door. Twilight Sparkle, Spike, Apple Bloom, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash are the only main characters who haven't been recast as of season 7.
*** Rarity was originally voiced by Andrea Kerekes in seasons 1 and 3. In season 2, and since season 4, she's been voiced by Ilona Molnar (the first voice of Diamond Tiara and Trixie).
** The Croatian HRT dub, due to how it was handled, has several cases of characters receiving more than 1 voice actor during the course of the series:
*** Zecora, Rainbow Dash and Rarity all had their own voice actor, but during season 2 Twilight's VA, Katarina Perica Kirin, replaced all of them (Zecora at the beginning of the season, and the other two after "Baby Cakes"). Rarity was also voiced by Andrea Baković, the VA for Pinkie Pie and others, in "Look Before You Sleep".
*** Spike was voiced by Jadran Grubišić until the second half of season 2, wherein he got a new male voice actor.
*** Diamond Tiara had the same VA as Rainbow Dash, but by the end of season 2 (in "Ponyville Confidential") her VA was also changed to Katarina.
*** Scootaloo, who normally shares her voice actor with Twilight Sparkle, was voiced by [[CrossDressingVoices Spike's former voice actor]] in "Call of the Cutie".
*** In "Bridle Gossip", one of Twilight's lines was voiced by Jadran instead of Katarina.
*** During season 1 Sweetie Belle is voiced by Matilda Sorić in "Stare Master", but in all other episodes she's voiced by Andrea instead. In season 2 she gets a different voice actor altogether.
*** The songs take it to an extreme; almost ''all'' of the songs that involve female characters are sung by ''a single person'' - Andrea Baković to be exact - regardless of which or how many characters are singing at once, in many instances even leading to a combined case of SingingVoiceDissonance and ActingForTwo. The only exceptions are songs that make heavy use of audio excerpts from the Serbian Mini dub (and those are few and tied to the first season), "Find a Pet" (where Fluttershy's VA and Andrea sing together), "The Flim Flam Brothers" (most of which is sung by male characters, anyway), "B.B.B.F.F." and "Love Is In Bloom" (these last two being sung by Twilight's VA instead).
** Starting with Season 3, the entire cast of the Japanese dub was replaced with lesser known voice actors.

** The [[UsefulNotes/IOSGames iOS game]] ''[[http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/monopoly-hotels/id479412611?mt=8 Monopoly Hotels]]'' has unfinished coding for an eighth ''My Little Pony'' guest, Princess Celestia.

** New episodes of Season 2 were originally being aired on Saturday at 9 AM ([[UsefulNotes/ANSIStandardBroadcastTVSchedule ''The Hub'' operates only on Eastern Time for most packages]]). They later pushed back to 10 AM, and then to 10:30 am for season 3.

** Daniel Ingram was so proud of his work on the "Winter Wrap-up" song, the first several-minute-long song on the show and the first except for the theme song to be sung by not only Pinkie Pie, that he put the song including the animated sequence on Website/YouTube one week early to show it to his friends. He didn't set the video to private, though. Three days later, Creator/{{Hasbro}} demanded he take the video down again. Wondering how come they even knew about it, he checked it, just to find some 12,000 praising comments under it that clearly weren't written by little girls. And that's how he discovered the bronies.

** In Croatia, the show initially debuted in 2014 on HRT (about 4 years after the first US broadcast) with just the first season, before airing the second season on the same channel about 3 years later in 2017. Around the same time HRT began broadcasting the second season, another channel called RTL Kockica began airing a completely new dub - again starting off with only the first season - and later announced the third season in September 2019 that would air sometime later, just around the time of the series finale airing in the US.

** Creator/LaurenFaust has a Website/DeviantArt [[http://fyre-flye.deviantart.com/ account]] and a Website/{{Twitter}} [[https://twitter.com/Fyre_flye account]], though after she stopped working for the show she was quick to note that [[DeathOfTheAuthor her word isn't canon]].
** Daniel Ingram, the show's songwriter, has a Website/{{Facebook}} [[http://www.facebook.com/dannyimusic page]], a Website/{{Twitter}} [[https://twitter.com/dannyimusic account]] and a Website/YouTube [[https://www.youtube.com/user/Coniferone channel]].
** Jayson Thiessen, the show's current chief director and showrunner, has a Website/DeviantArt [[http://goldenrusset.deviantart.com/ account]], a Website/{{Twitter}} [[https://twitter.com/goldenrusset account]] and a Website/YouTube [[https://www.youtube.com/user/chubbydee channel]], and is not shy about communicating with fans (at least about things he's allowed to discuss).

** Of the worst kind, [[http://www.equestriadaily.com/2012/01/clarification-from-hasbro-about.html due to deals made with TV networks outside of the US]]. To date, the complete series has only been released for sale on the iTunes Store, which does not sell videos to those living in the remaining two-thirds of the world, and not even all of them are available outside the US in the one-third of the world where the iTunes Store sells videos. The show's other commercial digital releases ({{Creator/Netflix}}, Google Play, and Website/YouTube) have all the episodes from past seasons, but as the trope suggests, they're known and/or presumed to be region-locked. Selected episodes have also been released on the Franchise/LeapFrog App Center, but that's region-locked too[[note]]As of March 2012, the videos are only available on the US and Canada app sites[[/note]] and only four pairs of episodes[[note]]"[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS1E7Dragonshy Dragonshy]]" with "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS1E10SwarmOfTheCentury Swarm of the Century]]", "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS1E1MareInTheMoon Friendship Is Magic, part 1]]" with "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS1E2ElementsOfHarmony Friendship Is Magic, part 2]]", "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS1E18TheShowStoppers The Show Stoppers]]" with "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS1E17StareMaster Stare Master]]", and "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS1E4ApplebuckSeason Applebuck Season]]" with "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS1E6BoastBusters Boast Busters]]"[[/note]] are available.

** The second season's eleventh through thirteenth episodes. [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS2E13HearthsWarmingEve "Hearth's Warming Eve"]], #13, was broadcast 11th so that it would air in time for Christmas (due to its similar theming). As a result, [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS2E11FamilyAppreciationDay "Family Appreciation Day"]] and [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS2E12BabyCakes "Baby Cakes"]] were each bumped one slot later, #11 and #12 being broadcast 12th and 13th, respectively. Hasbro's website and ''Franchise/MyLittlePony'' Website/YouTube channel, Creator/TheHub and its website, the iTunes Store, Google Play, and Creator/{{Netflix}} have all stuck with the production order's numbering, though the iTunes Store temporarily went with the broadcast order's numbering.

** Lauren Faust played with the G1 toys as a child. She even named her Website/DeviantArt handle "fyre-flye" after her favorite G1 pony. (note that she did this ''before'' Hasbro asked her to do the show)

To make things even worse, starting with season 4, the show was aired on the Disney Channel, so from then on, it had never been available on one single TV station again. Of course, the Disney Channel didn't know what to do with a "little girls' show" made by a competitor with abysmal ratings (which were so abysmal because Nick had never even tried) and stashed it away somewhere where nobody would watch it again. It's almost a wonder that the German bronydom grew so big with the only gateways being Website/YouTube and gaming communities.\\

** Lauren Faust likes to occasionally answer questions about the show in her Website/DeviantArt comments page. Several times, though, she has refused to answer questions, saying that she has an idea of the answer, but doesn't want to tie herself down to any particular position when a different answer might come up later as a plot point, and sometimes the process of writing produces more interesting answers than trying to figure it out ahead of time. Other times, she's mentioned that she simply doesn't have an answer because it's not really something she goes out of her way to think about.

** AllThereInTheScript names from the toy line include [[FanNickname Cherry]] Berry, [[FanNickname Lotus Blossom]], [[FanNickname Lyra]] Heartstrings, and Sunny [[FanNickname Rays]]. A mid-2017 update to Gameloft game likewise formalized Button Mash's name. Of course, most of the ascended {{Fan Nickname}}s are generic enough that they could just be cases of IKnewIt, and the name "Cherry Berry" had previously been used as the British name of the G1 pony Crunch Berry. The same can't be said for the Website/YouTube-born [[http://www.equestriadaily.com/2013/02/steven-magnet-is-actually-steven-magnet.html Steven Magnet]].

** Stage 4 "large and organized," without a doubt. Sites like ''Blog/EquestriaDaily'' and Website/FimfictionDotNet are still running strong, and fan artists are still making things left and right.

* DenialOfDigitalDistribution: Seasons 5 through 8 are not streaming anywhere as of March 2023, but the entire series can still be bought.

* DiagnosisOfGod: [[FlipFlopOfGod Zigzagged]] for Scootaloo and her inability to fly. When Lauren Faust was still the showrunner, she said that Scootaloo "hadn't figured it out yet" and was not disabled, then she said that she ''was'' disabled, then she [[GodDoesNotOwnThisWorld stopped being the showrunner]]. While Scootaloo is seen with child-sized wings in "Growing Up is Hard to Do" as an adult, even that doesn't confirm that she's disabled as Bulk Biceps also has child-sized wings but can fly.

** The [[https://www.equestriadaily.com/2015/04/tons-of-season-5-information-hidden-in.html third season]] of [[http://www.equestriadaily.com/2015/05/more-potentially-awesome-season-5.html trading cards]] ended up revealing several plot points from the fifth season in advance, such as [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS5E4BloomAndGloom Apple Bloom being visited by Luna in her dreams]], [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS5E17MadeInManehattan Coco Pommel revitalizing her local community theater]], and [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS5E9SliceOfLife Cranky Doodle Donkey's friendship with Steven Magnet the sea serpent]].

** Princess Luna toys tend to be purplish-hued instead of dark blue and black.

** Some of the [[GodCreatedCanonForeigner ponies introduced in the toy line]] are recolors of the Mane Six, while the recolored artwork that appears on the package doesn't match the character the toy was based on. For instance, the toy of Blossomforth is Fluttershy with a white coat and a red-and-green mane, but the package artwork shows Rainbow Dash with the same colors. And when Blossomforth [[CanonImmigrant made the jump to the show]], she was given a different appearance (probably because it'd be a bit odd to feature a pony looking just like one of the Mane Six). This issue no longer comes up because Hasbro now has a thing for releasing the Mane 6 and the occasional supporting character OVER AND OVER. The only recolored character from the 2015-2016 range of ponies is Skywishes, but other than that, all the ponies in the Cutie Mark Magic lines and the Explore Equestria lines are the mane 6 or from the show itself.

*** Among the Blind Bag ponies are several recolors that actually resemble some background ponies in the show, starting with Flower Wishes (called Daisy in the show) Roseluck (called Rose in the show), and Lemon Hearts. As an amusing side note, Fluttershy, Cheerilee, and Trixie Lulamoon are [[YouDontLookLikeYou demoted to Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Rarity recolors]]! Though, at least Fluttershy is finally set to get her own mold, in a set based on the pilot. With the introduction of the "Friendship is Magic Collection," however these mistakes are becoming more rare since all of the characters have their own molds.
** Relatively minor, but one of the first things most fans of the show do after purchasing Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash or Applejack toys is to take a pair of scissors to all that excess mane.

** This also seems [[http://www.equestriadaily.com/2015/05/more-potentially-awesome-season-5.html be]] [[http://www.equestriadaily.com/2015/04/possible-major-spoiler-in-mlp-card-game.html the]] [[http://www.equestriadaily.com/2015/04/tons-of-season-5-information-hidden-in.html case]] (Links contain spoilers, of course) for the trading cards, which hide a lot of information about Season 5.

** In order to be more appealing to girls, early toy versions of Princess Celestia were [[PinkProductPloy pink]] rather than white, even though the boxes depict her as white. Back when the pink toys were the only ones, Creator/LaurenFaust said "I must admit I'm disappointed Celestia is pink. I'm not sure why they went that way, but my experience with the toy industry (through my [[Toys/MilkyWayAndTheGalaxyGirls Galaxy Girls]] project) is that you often have to to bow to the will of the 'buyers' -- the guys who decide what they are going to put on the shelf in their store. Often they will say things like 'I'll buy 50, but if you make it pink I'll buy 500' and since the toy company makes their profit from the buyer and not the consumer, it makes sense for them to compromise. It's a really stupid, frustrating business." In fact, rumor has it that the reason Princess Cadence was introduced in the season 2 finale was so the buyers could have a pink princess toy ''and'' a show-accurate white Celestia toy.
** They also made Princess Luna purplish-hued instead of dark blue and black.
** Most of the ponies that come with an animal pet don't have the same pets as seen in the show. With the introduction of the Explore Equestria and the Equestria Girls Minis, they now have their pets from the show. Rainbow Dash comes with Tank in an Explore Equestria set, and all of the Equestria Girls Minis Slumber Party dolls have the pets from the show. For some reason, Rainbow Dash is surprisingly missing from the EG Minis Slumber Party line, but she was able to get her pet. Owlowiscious, however, did not get a toy, but he was included in the Nightmare Night wave of the Friendship is Magic Collection with Twilight's treehouse.
*** Twilight has an owl instead of Spike, though this may be because Spike is a sapient assistant rather than a pet animal.
*** Does Spike's jealousy over Owloysius in "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS1E24OwlsWellThatEndsWell Owl's Well That Ends Well]]" mean the toy was supposed to tie into the episode, or is that just the crew venting?
*** Now Spike ''does'' come with Twilight as part of her Twinkling Balloon play-set. Yay!
*** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMatVdLyHq8 The commercial]] is hilarious because even though the audio makes ''no mention'' at all of Spike his toy is featured prominently, as if Hasbro is saying "There! Twilight and Spike, together at last!" ''Are you happy now? Please buy our stuff!''
*** Speaking of Spike's toy, he comes permanently posed on all fours, and while he does stand like this in the show on occasion, he mostly stands on his hind legs. Only his So Soft [[SpinOffBabies Newborn]] toy has him sit up straight. Recently, however, most of the Spike figures do have him standing on his hind legs.

* IKnewIt:
** We have a [[WMG/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicConfirmed list]] of [[WildMassGuessing Wild Mass Guesses]] that turned out to be true.
** The idea that [[AllThereInTheScript Lotus Blossom]] (the pink-haired blue pony who works in the spa) has a twin sister named Aloe originated in FanFiction. In "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS1E20GreenIsntYourColor Green Isn't Your Color]]", we see her {{Palette Swap}}ped twin for the first time. Turns out there are Europe-only [[http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Surprise_Twins_Pony G1]] and [[http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Rose_and_Lily G2]] twin pony toys who look very much like them.
** [[http://sweetiebelle-fim.deviantart.com/art/MAKE-IT-STOP-205208721 This image]] and [[http://death-driver-5000.deviantart.com/art/Corrupted-Twilight-Sparkle-259390898 this image]] predicted events that would happen in "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS2E2TheReturnOfHarmonyPart2 The Return of Harmony Part 2]]".
** A common fandom interpretation of Luna was that she'd be TheAtoner trying to improve her image. That's pretty much the exact plot of the season 2 episode "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS2E4LunaEclipsed Luna Eclipsed]]".
*** The ''Fanfic/PonyPOVSeries'' accurately guessed that Luna would [[NightmareFuelStationAttendant have a scary sense of taste.]]
** Some fans predicted Silver Spoon would show [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold some hidden kindness]] because she has a heart in the handle of the spoon in her Cutie Mark. In "Family Appreciation Day", she's the first pony to start applauding Granny Smith's story about the foundation of Ponyville.
** It was never implied that Spitfire was Captain of the Wonderbolts in her first couple of appearances, but most fans assumed she was after "The Best Night Ever", probably due to her being the more level-headed of the two named Wonderbolts. This was confirmed in "Hurricane Fluttershy" and in "Wonderbolts Academy".
** It was very common for fanfics to have the events of "Boast Busters" result in Trixie's life being ruined. Turns out that's EXACTLY what happened.
** ''Fanfic/GettingBackOnYourHooves'' had [[spoiler:Trixie be a dorky LargeHam after her HeelFaceTurn was fully completed. This is pretty much what happens with canon Trixie when she does the same.]]
** Ever since the first episode, fans have speculated what the future holds for Twilight Sparkle. It was fairly common belief early on that Celestia was grooming Twilight to be her eventual replacement, and while that hasn't come to pass, [[spoiler:she's now an Alicorn Princess]]. The Element of Magic is after all, as Twilight herself puts it, a "[[CoolCrown Big Crown Thingy]]". Helps that one of the show's staff [[http://princesschuchi.deviantart.com/art/Princess-TS-sketch-186760413 drew]] a sketch of SideStoryBonusArt a ''month'' after the pilot episode aired.
*** For two years prior to that, fans often referred to this possibility as Twilight "[[AscendToAHigherPlaneOfExistence ascending]]". [[spoiler:That's pretty much exactly what happened.]]
** Rarity calling [[spoiler:the newly transformed Twilight]] "an alicorn" in the Season 3 finale finally elevates that long-popular FanNickname for the {{Winged Unicorn}}s of the series to canon status. (The "Alicorn Amulet" in "Magic Duel" already introduced the word itself, but didn't yet make quite clear what it referred to).
** Several seiyuu fans thought that Creator/KikukoInoue would be a perfect voice for the Japanese version of Princess Celestia. It turns out she ''does'' voice her in the official Japanese dub.
*** Same for those who predicted that Creator/ShigeruChiba would voice Discord.
** Many fans speculated over the years that the main reason Princess Celestia and Luna made Twilight the Princess of Friendship and let the Mane Six handle most threats to Equestria[[note]]not to mention Princess Celestia making Twilight Sparkle her star pupil to begin with, arranging for her to make friends in Ponyville and confront Nightmare Moon in the pilot, arranging for her to defeat King Somba at the start of Season 3, giving the test that made Twilight an alicorn, and increased her responsibilities like crowned her the Princess of Friendship in the Season 3 Finale, put the Mane Six in charge of the Friendship School, etc[[/note]] was because Celestia was [[TricksterMentor secretly preparing]] Twilight to be [[spoiler:her replacement]]. * MoneyDearBoy: While he later came to appreciate the role, Creator/JohnDeLancie originally became Discord for a quick buck. He had completely forgotten about it by the time fan mail started rolling in.

** And Pinkie Pie's singing voice is Shannon Chan-Kent. Creator/AndreaLibman, however, voices Fluttershy for both her speaking AND singing parts. According to Daniel Ingram, Pinkie songs sung by Andrea include "Happy Monthiversary" from "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS2E12BabyCakes Baby Cakes]]" as well as [[FanNickname "You're a Cranky Doodle Donkey"]], the "Welcome Song" and [[FanNickname "Cranky Doodle Joy"]] from "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS2E18AFriendInDeed A Friend in Deed]]".
** Also, Twilight Sparkle's singing voice is Creator/RebeccaShoichet, and Rarity's singing voice is Kazumi Evans. For Creator/TaraStrong at least, this is due to her recording her lines separately (she’s based in a completely different country after all), and the ensemble songs require the actresses to be recorded together.
