** You could say this has had a minor [[TropesAreNotBad positive effect]] on the making of the videos, as sometimes when Linkara has to do re-edits of some of the videos to get around the copyright claims, he'll actually go and find other footage to replace it rather than just using still frames, trim it down even further, or use footage from elsewhere in the episodes. For instance, when Part 3 of the ''Megaforce'' review had to be taken down due to copyright claims, he replaced the ''Super Megaforce'' footage under his commentary with footage of ''Ninja Storm'' when he mention's Cam's powers being, "A samurai ranger who wields an ancient electric ninja guitar." Other corrections or changes sometimes like this get added too elsewhere.

** The review for ''Ninja Steel'' begins with Lewis explaining that due to even further crackdowns on [=YouTube=]'s Content ID system, he'll now be forced to utilize even LESS footage of the show than beforehand, and instead resort to verbal recaps and stillframes.

** Thanks to [=YouTube=] seriously cracking down on copyright claims, and the fact that it's about the only reliable video hosting site left (this after four previous hosting sites Linkara tried to use all went under) the [[UpdatedRerelease Updated Rereleases]] of the episodes all feature significantly less footage than they previous had. While the rerelease of ''MMPR'' simply cut a lot of scenes to under the 10 second mark, the rerelease of ''Operation Overdrive'' saw many clips completely removed, instead being replaced with a lengthy still image of the scene for Linkara to talk over. This especially applies to the re-releases of ''In Space'' and ''RPM'', which had to be delayed significantly since their original videos featured copyrighted music that Linkara was against removing completely. Instead, he decided to record original covers of said music, but that proved to take a lot longer than he originally thought it would, leading him to simply skip the two seasons get back to them later.

** Not at the moment, but due to Vidme (the site Linkara uploaded episodes to) shutting down, Linkara effectively announced that he was going to invoke this trope in regards to the original versions[[note]]and some of the semi-edited versions that were made to get around Content ID claims[[/note]] of all pre-''Operation Overdrive'' episodes once the site shut down[[note]]since that's when he started using official sources; all episodes onwards met his current standards, and were made using footage from official sources[[/note]]; now that the scene is shut down, the only way you can watch the original or semi-edited versions is to have downloaded them/watch them from someone who downloaded them.

* CowboyBebopAtHisComputer: By his own admission, Linkara is not familiar with Franchise/SuperSentai, and any knowledge he does have of it tends to be rather peripheral. As such, it's not uncommon for him to make errors in regards to Sentai information. Xander is actually from Australia; as is his actor, Richard Brancatisano. He made this mistake about Xander two more times during his reviews of ''Series/PowerRangersOperationOverdrive'' and ''Series/PowerRangersDinoCharge'', and only time will tell if he'll make this mistake again when he remakes his Mystic Force review.

*** He also states that Octaroo (rather his counterpart Shitari) appears in the ''Shinkenger'' tribute episode. That's inaccurate. The Gokaigers have a cameo in the ''Goseiger vs. Shinkenger'' movie (a common tradition to introduce the next team in the team-up movie) where they show off their powers by killing Shitari. The main series [[ArcWelding welded]] in this cameo by revealing that they traveled back in time thanks to [[Series/MiraiSentaiTimeranger Time Yellow]].
*** At one point,, the team morphs into the core ''[[Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers MMPR]]'' costumes, but gets their asses kicked by the monster of the week. Linkara calls it an embarrassment to the original team, but it was direct footage of ''Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger'' -- which wasn't supposed to be celebrating the anniversary of ''Series/KyoryuSentaiZyuranger'' or MMPR anyway -- meaning it was just another Gokai Change. [[note]]Granted you could argue Linkara's point in that the US production team were aware Super Megaforce was a celebration of MMPR and since they had copies of the original costumes, could have filmed their own footage paying a greater homage to the original Dinozord themed suits.[[/note]]

** In the 2022 [=YouTube=] re-edit of ''Wild Force's'' episode, Linkara mentioned how this was somehow [[AvertedTrope averted]] for the original 2010 version of it, where he was somehow allowed to play the entire 2-minute explanation of how the Anamarium and Wild Zords exist uninterrupted on Blip, despite friends of his not being afforded the same luxury by the site.

The deal Saban, now Hasbro, has with Toei states that they cannot skip a ''Sentai'' season ([[Series/ResshaSentaiToqger save for one]]) regardless of what that season contains. ** When talking about the missed opportunity to connect Ernie's Juice Bar to the past, he wonders why they couldn't get Lieutenant Stone's actor back. Thing is, they literally ''couldn't'' get his actor back, since not only was Greg Bullock (Stone's actor) dismissed from Saban in 1997 after his character had been written out of ''Turbo'', but he hasn't acted since then.

** The series is extremely similar in style to the reviews of WebSite/SFDebris. Linkara definitely knows about his existence, due to the fact that he asked for permission for the use of "Under Pressure" in a similar way that WebSite/SFDebris did in his review of ''Series/StarTrekTheNextGeneration''[='=]s finale for the finale of ''[[Series/PowerRangersInSpace In Space]]''. He's also been known to point people toward WebSite/SFDebris' "''Series/DoctorWho''" video if they have questions about where to start watching.
