** Liam O'Brien, Ky's English voice actor in ''Overture'', usually plays cynical or evil rulers, not good or idealistic ones.... except if you count [[VideoGame/SengokuBasara Ieyasu Tokugawa.]] He also broke out of his pigeonhole with Axl Low and Johnny in ''Xrd'', friendly and good-natured fellows.

And as noted above, this is also when he and Creator/NorioWakamoto play the same character and ''also'' going against their type.

* NoDubForYou: Due to production timing issues, ''-REVELATOR-'' is not going to have an English dub. [[spoiler: Because the story isn't finished and Arc System Works plans on releasing the rest of it as DLC later on.]] Not to mention, [[AsianSpeekeeEngrish Jam's lines]] would sound really ridiculous when dubbed.

** While many of the Japanese voices of ''Xrd'' characters were changed (especially for those formerly voiced by one-time VA's like Chipp and Jam), apparently Kazue Fujita still stays for Dizzy in ''Xrd REVELATOR''

** So far, Baiken has three. The original one, used exclusively in ''The Missing Link'' was Creator/SatomiKoorogi (the voice of May), who previously was the voice of [[Manga/RurouniKenshin Sakura]] (but not Mayo Suzukaze, who voiced the actual Kenshin Himura, off whom Baiken was based). The second one is Sudo Miho, whose deep voice acting was used in a good portion of ''Guilty Gear'' games, at least up until ''Accent Core'', which had Chizu Yonemoto instead.

** So far, Baiken has three.is the biggest example. She's had no less than ''four'' voice actresses throughout the series. The role was once again recast in Revelator to Creator/MayumiAsano.

** [[http://gear-project.tumblr.com/tagged/GG+Prototype The prototype version]] of ''[=GG1=]'', while not wholly different from the final product, did have more than a few noticeable differences in character designs (most notably: May and Potemkin using large axes instead of using an anchor and bare melee attacks respectively, and Sol demonstrating CutlassBetweenTheTeeth) and in-game visuals, using pre-rendered 3D models instead of fully-2D sprites.
