* IKnewIt: In early 2016, after he uploaded the second part of his 2015 recap he uploaded a few more videos to Website/YouTube around the same time. This lead a lot of his viewers to believe that he was going to make videos regularly again. A while later he makes an announcement that he quit his job at the Creator/{{BBC}} and has decided to go back to making videos full time again.

* AccidentallyCorrectWriting: Gigguk compares ''LightNovel/TheRisingOfTheShieldHero'''s premise to an "Isekai [[MultiMookMelee horde mode]]" before making the joke that, if it was written in 2019 instead of 2013, it'd be an "Isekai [[BattleRoyaleGame battle royale]]". [[spoiler:Funny enough, later installments reveal the Waves, the cataclysmic event that led to the horde mode comparison, are essentially different universes being mashed together, each one having their ''own'' set of heroes. In short, he was right in calling it an Isekai Battle Royale.]]

* MeanCharacterNiceActor: While not necessarily mean, he does enforce a sarcastic demeanor in some of his videos. In real life however he's actually a really nice guy with this side often being shown at conventions and some of his more analytical and serious videos.

* AscendedMeme: Acknowledged how many of his fans pointed out the ScheduleSlip in the 2015 recap and officially declared the meme dead after his 2016 recap came out before the new year started.

* ScheduleSlip:
** From late 2013 through early 2016 he didn't put out a lot of videos due to getting an engineering job at the BBC. Most notably his two-part yearly anime recaps would often have their second parts come out after the new year.
** [=EVABridged=] hasn't seen a new episode in THREE YEARS. Though it may have become an OrphanedSeries at this point.
* SequelGap: As stated above his two-part yearly anime recaps would often not have their second parts come out until a few months after the new year began.
