* CreatorCameo: Scott Cawthon once again reprises the role of Phone Guy. He also voices [[TalkingtoHimself another character]], who is practically Phone Guy, but with a SurferDude accent and [[TotallyRadical dialect]] during first two levels.
* DidntSeeThatComing: A fanon example. Yes, we all know there was a Golden Freddy...but who in the world could have guessed that there was a Golden ''Bonnie''?

* CreatorsFavorite: Scott has said he would like Springtrap to appear in another game, but it would have to make sense lore-wise.

*** Except for there being a Phantom Freddy but no Phantom Bonnie. Guess you could call this a Broken Streak?

*** Well, technically, Springtrap ''is'' this game's Bonnie, but it does seem like a [[BrokenStreak Broken Streak]] even if you consider that.

** The game itself is sometimes referred to as "Six Nights At Springtrap's", as Freddy does not make a physical appearance in the game. He appears as a phantom, but is still overshadowed by Springtrap.

Scotty voicing again because it\'s a bit much work for a seperate voice? I figured out why nobody may translate his games!

** Right from the very first released picture of Springtrap, a fair amount of people correctly guessed that [[spoiler: he's the Purple Guy's ghost]].

** Some did wonder if there would be, just due to Bonnie's significance in development and the games. He's the one that Scott had nightmares about when he was creating the game, but also seems to be his favorite. In relation to Freddy, the two have a lot more in common appearance-wise compared to Foxy or Chica, and also happen to be the only two with props related to their performance roles in the restaurant- Bonnie's guitar and Freddy's mic. And lastly, guess which two characters have 'Shadow' variants that pop up rarely in the second game? It seems like Bonnie shares a lot of the spotlight with Freddy...
** ...which is even more humorous in retrospect, because the two seem to be the only ones (As of now) to appear in teasers for the fourth game. Bonnies just seem to show up wherever there's a Freddy!

Easter Egg isn\'t a triva trope. Moving.

* EasterEgg: Someone pointed out that if you take the map screen and turn it upside down, it resembles Scott Cawthon's avatar from his game ''There Is No Pause Button!''. [[http://imgur.com/utIyqxS Check it.]]
** Clicking on the cupcake a few time when it appears in the camera feeds sends you to a minigame. In this minigame, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNuNCQy0F1s you play as Toy Chica delivering cupcakes to various kids.]]
*** Not to mention that Chica's cupcake is hidden in each room.
*** As it turns out [[spoiler: this is one of a series a minigames that need to be completed in order to unlock the Good Ending.]]
** Look at the blurred out text surrounding the newspaper; it's trivia about the series! They say, in no particular order:
*** "Fun fact: The names Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy were just nicknames while I worked on the characters. I was planning on giving them official names later but had grown very fond of them by the time the game was done."
*** "In real life I tend to have waking-nightmares, meaning that I walk in my sleep etc. One night I dreamt that Bonnie was in the hall outside my door, so I jumped out of bed and rushed to hold the door shut. I discovered that the door was locked and it filled me with dread. In [=FNaF=] 1, when the doors don't work, it means that something is already in your office. So when I felt that door was locked, I felt like Bonnie was in my bedroom and was about to get me. Thankfully, I woke up."
*** "I actually modeled the Foxy character on my laptop while riding on a 14 hour drive to visit my inlaws over the summer of 2014. It's very difficult to model a 3D character on a bumpy car ride. Maybe this is why Foxy looks so torn up! :) While we were visiting my kids got to experience Foxy's jumpscare for the first time!"
*** "In the original game, Freddy was never originally meant to move around the diner and was only meant to "get you" if your time ran out. This was changed before release."
*** "While working on the first game, I started a crowdfunding campaign for it. [[https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/977464073/five-nights-at-freddys?ref=card I raised exactly zero dollars]]."[[note]]Likely because the funding attempt was canceled less than 72 hours after it was posted[[/note]]
*** "Before I began work on [=FNaF=], I had to choose what game to make out of three potential games. Knowing it might be my last try before having to start a new career, I was choosing between a sequel to [[VideoGame/TheDesolateHope the Desolate Hope]], a remake of my first game Legacy of Flan. Or a new idea about animations and security cameras."
*** "Looking back on many of my old games, I've found that there is almost always a broken-down robot in them. I'm not sure why this happens to be such a recurring thing in my games, but it's obvious that it's something haunting me."
