The American DVD release of Felix the Cat: The Movie is a bootleg, as evidenced by the fact that there are no copyrights for any of the companies involved with the movie on the DVD and the fact that Top Ten New Media Production Limited is a bootlegging company.

Edited Descended Creator - while he does indeed play guitar and provide at least some of the backing vocals on it and the other musical numbers, I've got confirmation from Don Oriolo himself a few years ago that the lead singer on "Who Is the Boss" was actually Peter Bliss (who was also involved with the theme song for The Twisted Tales of Felix The Cat). Just for further confirmation, if you compare the song to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6kWrRraork it's clearly the same singer.

* DescendedCreator: Don Oriolo wrote the songs and performed several of them himself, including "Who Is The Boss?" on which he also played guitar.

* DoingItForTheArt: Say whatever you want about the quality of the movie, but it really was a labor of love by Don Oriolo. The Felix series was all but dead by the time it was released, and his dad was too ill to make a new Felix movie, so Don took it on himself to get a Felix the Cat movie made just to carry on Creator/OttoMessmer and Joe's legacy and revitalize interest in the character. Even in spite of its box office failure, it at least succeeded in its goal of getting people interested in the Felix franchise again.

(It was a hollow victory for ''Rock-A-Doodle'', which was also a major animated bomb and crushed its helmer's studio.)
