** Despite how low their popularity fell in Japan, B't X stirred up a mass cult following literally everywhere else around the globe, particularly amongst their East Asian neighbors, South Asia, Italy, Spain, and Latin America. Japanese toy company, Takara even had toys, and action figures produced and sold exclusively outside of Japan to cater the fans, resulting to these versions of memorabilia becoming Limited Special Collector's Ultimate Editions to local Japanese fans. The only merchandise Japan ever produced of B't X for their local market during it's run were their soundtracks and character songs. As of 2015, they only added one pachinko arcade...and a [=DVD=] BOX that's impossible to own.
** The popularity of B't X not only opened the doors of reintroducing their brother series Manga/SaintSeiya to a new generation of fans in Asia, but also pushed Saint Seiya into global popularity as well.
** B't X is one the best remembered and loved animes in Argentina, after Anime/DragonBall and Manga/SaintSeiya. This probably has a lot to do with the fact that very little anime is ever exported there.

* JustForFun/RoleAssociation:
** Let's just look down at the cast and count how many of them are connected with Manga/YuYuHakusho:
*** Our hero is Hiei. He keeps the common shout of "MESSIAH FIST!!!!" from ever getting dull; not to mention he's been a Game Master since he was a kid. Teppei's childhood voice actress, Yoshiko Kamei was Tsukihito Amanuma aka. Gamemaster, one of the Sensui Seven in YYH.
*** His brother is Yusuke Urameshi.
*** The woman who trained him is Kurama
*** Juggler is Kurama's high school schoolmate who likes to play word games. Juggler's voice actor, Issei Futamata plays Yuu Kaito aka. Taboo in YYH.
*** Aramis' B't is Yusuke's mom.
*** Jin plays an enemy again, only colder and obsessed with flowers.
*** Kuwabara's sassy sister now plays a baddie CreepyChild in charge of the empire.
*** Metalface was Hokushin, Yusuke's lead subordinate in the Three Kings Arc.
*** Karin was Suzaku's pet bird, Murugu, and also Hinageshi, one of the guides to the Spirit World within the movie.
*** And oh yes, elite mook Asato Kido still plays...an elite mook name Mila.
** With an interesting note, Teppei and Ron continued their team bond out to the Universal Century that same year. Two years later, they formed the Myougi Night Kids for their off-duty hobby.
** In the wake of 2013, Teppei did his Expies expies proud by becoming the in Anime/SaintSeiyaOmega.

** During the turn into TheNineties, Creator/MasamiKurumada fellout with Shonen Jump with his Manga/SaintSeiya series, prompting it's cancellation. Leading him to leave Shueisha to reside with a different publisher who's willing to give him his creative freedom in developing a new story to catch some fresh air. Hence the birth of B't X through Shonen Ace of Kadokawa Shoten. The rest of his Saint Seiya francise was adopted by Akita Shoten's Weekly Shonen Champion and Champion Red magazine.

** The anime of B't X initially had decent ratings in their home country when they first started airing. But then the higher ups comes along to pull out their resources and sending hell lots of the animation production overseas to cut cost, triggering the bad cycle of inconsistent character design and animation, ultimately plunging their ratings and had their anime forced into GeckoEnding. Which was a shame, since Kurumada fully showcased his artistry of lovable characters, deep philosophy, and a rock solid plot line within his manga.
