** ''VideoGame/{{Persona 3}}'': For Akihiko Sanada, it's beef bowl. This is used to obliquely announce his official arrival on the scene late in ''Persona ~trinity soul~'' when Shin, delivering take-out to the police station, wonders who the beef bowl ramen is for and a couple of women [[ChickMagnet instantly volunteer to deliver it for him]].

Added DiffLines:

** It's suggested that Asgore's favorite is Toriel's Butterscotch-Cinnamon Pie, due to finding several discarded recipes for it in the trash in the kitchen at New Home, implying he tried and failed several times to recreate it. Unlike the others, this one actually has a gameplay implication: [[spoiler: If you eat the pie that Toriel gave you when you're fighting Asgore at the end of a Neutral Run, [[HeroicBSOD it'll remind him of her and he'll take hits to his attack and defense.]] Similarly, if you eat it when you're trying to SAVE him and Toriel at the end of a True Pacifist Run, they'll both be brought within one ACT of being [=SAVEd=]. Because of the implication there that Toriel is also fond of it, some believe that this extends to their late son, Asriel, though there isn't any evidence for or against this.]]

** Papyrus makes a lot of fuss about his spaghetti, leading many to assume it was his favorite. This was ultimately subverted in a one year anniversary Q&A special where we find out his favorite food is actually the oatmeal with the dinosaur eggs in it.
** Temmies like, appropiately, Temmie Flakes. Giving them some in battle is the key to sparing them. Bizarrely, Temmie Flakes are nothing but shredded color construction paper.

This was ultimately subverted in a one year anniversary Q&A special where we find out his favorite food is actually the oatmeal with the dinosaur eggs in it. Apparently, he's never even ''tried'' spaghetti--he just makes it because everyone else likes it.

Added DiffLines:

** Sans is thought to be fond of ketchup, due to downing an entire bottle of it like a drink if you turn down his offer of putting some on your food at Grillby's
** Despite the only real evidence being that you can swipe some from her fridge, Alphys is often associated with Instant Noodles.
** [[spoiler: Due to the fallen child saying "No Chocolate" when you examine the fridge in New Home in a Genocide Run, [[MoodWhiplash with most of their other lines being appropriately dark,]] chocolate is assumed to be their favorite.]]

** The Yiga in ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaBreathOfTheWild'' love bananas so much, that if they see any mysteriously appearing in their line of sight, [[TheGuardsMustBeCrazy they'll immediately run toward the bananas and ignore everything else until they've been grabbed]] - convenient for Link, as they are otherwise the most competent guards in the franchise. And when you get to their heavily-guarded storehouse, you'll see a treasure box on a pedestal. No, it's not the treasure you came for; it's a bunch of bananas.
