** Right at the end of Chapter 41, Cross does so and considers afterwards that he should have punched himself with his Impact Dial for doing so.
** One not played for laughs: [[spoiler: Cross exults after checking Ace's Vivre Card and finding it still intact, and celebrates over successfully stopping the Paramount War. One caller tells of a time he swapped his father's hair gel and his mother's hair dye, claiming "They'll never figure out it was me" while doing so. Cross explains that on it's own, that's tempting fate, but given that said caller told this story on a worldwide radio broadcast without the optional voice filter, he's not so much tempting fate as outright antagonizing it.
