The worst part is that Odalia, being an Oracle, noticed Amity the First's ghost trying to make herself noticed to the two of them, captured her, and used her bound spirit to manipulate both Alador and Darius multiple times. And then, when Amity the Second frees her and restores her memories, she starts vanishing to the afterlife because Alador and Darius's friendship has been repaired, so her unfinished business is done, and only Vee offering herself up as a temporary vessel allows the two a proper farewell.
