* When Kelleran meets up with the guards that have a ship ready for his escape, one of them asks "where are the others?" Kelleran can only confirm that there are none, underscoring the sheer cost of Order 66.

* It turns out Elia Kane was manipulating Doctor Pershing into getting the cloning equipment she needed, pretending to befriend him and confide in him about her time with the Empire to gain his trust, and letting him do the same, then proceeding to make him the scapegoat for her own schemes. After he's arrested, she lies to the Republic officers, telling them that Pershing (who is genuinely remorseful over the work he was made to do for the Empire) has relapsed into being an Imperial sympathiser, and as a result is placed inside a machine to be brainwashed. The idea that one of the few people you felt you could trust and talk to when you felt vulnerable was simply gaslighting you into doing what they wanted is an all too real and familiar feeling.

He proceeds to throw himself into the horde of Imperials and fight until he's half-dead and finished off by Praetorians. For all his faults, he was a true Mandalorian to the end.
