* In Chapter 260, Pyrrha says that whenever she tries to hold the weapons Luminary made for her, she's reminded of her metal form and sometimes she feels her semblance pulling her towards them and she doesn't know if she wants to touch her ewapons ever again and sometimes she thinks her Fire Brand may be too much for her as well.

* In Chapter 259, Twilight Chiaki's version of Remnant faces a somber end. Being wiped out without anybody on the planet knowing why and not even realizing their incoming death. Also saddening to see a genuine good version of Jaqcuess perishing just for trying to protect his daughter, Weiss, Twilight's reason for destroying Remnant, and dying in vain.

* Jade calling out Myra for not doing anything about Viola until it was too late and after King Boo had killed Jade's parents. What's more is that Myra agrees with Jade.

* In Chapter 216, Chaos Ruby loses both her weapon and five of her beloved Pokémon to Magog, leaving her begging for Ruby and Chiaki to finally save her.

* The origins of the one-eyed Shiny Charizard are very gut-wrenching. It has been through a lot of abuse from Pokémon Poachers throughout its life. Because of this, the Shiny Charizard hates humans with a passion and desires to protect any Pokémon from abuse by killing any humans it comes into contact with out of vengeance from its past abuse.

* In Chapter 207, SAPR discovers her pass as R3-B7 and is left horrified by what she did, as well as upset over everyone keeping that from her.

** The day Magnolia returned to school after her suspension was lifted, she became more of an outcast than before when her classmates started actively avoiding her and being scared of her to the point where they started calling her a demon fox just like her old bullies.

* The majority of Chapter 189:
** Nick tells about his sister's tragic past as a victim of both bullying and Faunus racism back when the twins were in the first grade along with their friends.
*** Back then, there was a trio of rich and snobby human girls from the second grade in Hathaway who [[KidsAreCruel loved to constantly bully and torment Magnolia for no good reason]] [[FantasticRacism other than treating her like a freak simply for being a Faunus]].
*** Things got even worse when the parents of the Foxtrot twins settled for divorce when they figured out that they'd never be able to resolve their respective issues as much as the father decided to leave home and leave his children to be under their mother's custody. Not to mention that the father even cut all contact with his family and hardly made any efforts to reconnect with Nick and Magnolia, the latter who took the divorce the hardest among the twins given how she used to look up to her father as a role model.
*** When the news of the divorce reached the ears of the student body in Hathaway, do you think that Magnolia's bullies would have the decency to leave her alone so that she could mourn in peace? Nope. [[NoSympathy Instead of showing her any form of sympathy]], [[KickTheDog they decided to kick their bullying up a notch by becoming far more physical with her than before, even going as far as to insult her divorced parents]] and [[TragicKeepsake breaking her ruby pendulum necklace (which was a birthday gift from her father) right in front of her]].
*** And while it was pretty cathartic to see the bullies being on the receiving end of a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown from Magnolia along with them being expelled by the school principal/headmaster as a consequence of their constant bullying antics towards her, [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone Magnolia was still visibly terrified for what she did]] and that she was suspended for a couple of weeks because of her violent retaliation even if the whole thing was mostly was out of self-defense.
*** The day Magnolia returned to school after her suspension was lifted, she became more of an outcast than before when her classmates started actively avoiding her and being scared of her to the point where they started calling her a demon fox just like her old bullies.
*** What really hurt Nick the most were the first words that came out of his sister's mouth towards him and their friends when she came back to school after two weeks of suspension.

*** Hearing those words caused Nick to run to the bathroom and sob in guilt for [[AccompliceByInaction not being able to do something to protect Magnolia properly when she was bullied]]. The poor boy's [[MyGreatestFailure been deeply traumatized and ashamed of himself]] for this ever since and has tried to make efforts to be a better older twin brother for his younger twin sister's sake.

*** What really hurt Nick the most was the first words his sister said to him and the others when she returned to school after her suspension was lifted.

All the sad moments that have happened over the course of the existence of gaiden are listed below:

* After Tabuu's defeat, we see ROB looking downtrodden, lamenting the loss of his kind. He's even the last one to leave.

* Roy's abandonment issues get the better of him, causing him to lash out at Wendy, who then explains to his stepmother that Bowsette will never be his mother to him anymore, bringing Boosette to tears.

** It gets even more tear-jerking when it's revealed Raven overheard the whole thing and is deeply ashamed of her actions and how it has hurt her own daughter. So much so, she fled away in sadness and shame. Then in Gaiden, we see that the earlier confrontation with Summer haunted Raven so much, that she hadn't gotten much sleep for two weeks! Thank goodness, [[VideoGame/Persona5 Goro Akechi]] decided to investigate upon seeing Raven's heavily disheveled state.

* The origins of the Shiny One-eyed Charizard are very gut-wrenching. It has been through a lot of abuse from Pokemon Poachers throughout its life. * Seryu's backstory is finally revealed in Chapter 105 and it is heartbreaking. While she still had problems with racist humans, [[FallenHero she was a noble member of the Winter Ops]] who was ChildhoodFriends with Sheele. However, when she attempts to stop a man from attacking a woman, she is knocked into a fire hydrant, which ends up giving her brain damage and drives her into a frenzy, [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone utterly destroyed once she realizes what she just did]]. Once she's subdued, Esdeath wanted to get her treatment, but [[CorruptCorporateExecutive Jacques]] had her shipped off to a mental hospital while bribing the other members of the council to ignore any attempts by Esdeath or Ironwood to have her removed. He then proceeded to visit Seryu every day and torment her, sending her completely off the deep end. By the time she burns the place to the ground, Sheele is left heartbroken that she and the other Winter Ops completely failed their friend.

* Seryu's brain damage is revealed to be much more painful and tragic in Chapter 116, which is a crack in her skull. It gets even worse from there as this causes her to be haunted by so many voices in her head, to the point where she cannot sleep, suffers short-term memory loss, and feels the urge to end her life but couldn't bring herself to go through with it. After her talk with Umber, Seryu proceeds to break down, showing just how vulnerable she really is behind the psychotic mask she portrays on the outside. Ultimately, she ran away into the woods at end of the chapter. She was also seen begging Sheele for help and wondering what she needs to do.
