** Just about any time Cat looks sad. Ariana Grande is ''way'' too good at it.
*** Jennette [=McCurdy=] gets her turn in [=#Yayday=]. It's just as bad as when Ariana does it, if not worse.

** Almost all of Mrs. Merr's interactions with her son are heartbreaking.
* Sam coldly swindling Cat out of all of her money at the start of ''Revenge Of The Brit Brats''. Considering how she easily gave up a portion of money in the pilot... that's cold.
** Also, Sam and Cat's arguing is hard to watch after all of this time seeing them as great friends.

* The entire second half of [=#YayDay=]:
** Sam's card to Cat. ''Dear lord, the card.''
-->'''Sam:''' Most people I hate, but you I like. I'm glad we're friends.
** [[HarsherInHindsight It becomes worse]] when you realize that this episode was shot a week or so before Jennette [=McCurdy's=] mom died in real life. Watch the part where Sam mentions her mother again and try not to cry.
*** It doesn't really help that Cat never tells her her real gift and lets her know she switched gifts.
** On a meta-level, Jennette's mom's death is what led to her CreatorBreakdown that lead to the show's cancellation and eventually [[StarDerailingRole plummet her acting career]] (not to mention her [[WeUsedToBeFriends relationship with Ariana]]).
** Plus, originally, this show was supposed to be a vehicle for Jennette, but steered more towards to Ariana's popularity, thus it only [[FromBadToWorse adds salt on the wound to Jennette's angst]] and to this day, Jennette [[{{Misblamed}} blames both Nick and Ariana for her acting career nosedive]].

** In [=#MadAboutShoe=], he actually gets upset about this, saying "Doesn't anyone say please anymore?" Earlier, when Sam and Cat both yell at him about their ideas, he, almost crying, shouts back at them to stop and flees into Sam's arms for a minute. Parred with his whispered "Sometimes you are so intense" this scene is downright heartbreaking. But it also reminds you that Dice, besides everything he does, is still just a kid
*** Might be a bit WMG, but that yelling stresses him out so much might indicate something about his home life...
* A meta example- the show's cancellation means that unless Dan convinces another actor from ''Victorious'' or ''iCarly'' to come back, the [[FranchiseKiller era of those two shows is now well and truly done]].
** Not just those two shows, but an [[OlderThanYouThink era that goes at least back]] to ''Series/TheAmandaShow'' and includes ''Series/DrakeAndJosh'' and ''Series/{{Zoey 101}}'', and even arguably all the way back to ''Series/AllThat''.
** It even hits hard that it ended on [[HarsherInHindsight unfriendly terms]] thanks to [[TroubledProduction behind-the-scenes infighting]] that led to [[WeUsedToBeFriends Jennette and Ariana to not be on speaking terms and their talk topics about each other being on their taboo lists up to this day]]. However, both actresses proved that these rumors were entirely false and they are still on very friendly terms with each other.
** In 2021, ''iCarly'' was [[Series/Icarly2021 revived]], but Sam did not return because Jennette has since quit acting and largely views her acting career as OldShame. Sam's absence is explained as her joining a motorcycle gang, meaning that either her and Cat's babysitting business failed, or that Sam threw it all away to pursue a life of crime.
** Really, the fact that, for all intents and purposes, the show ended up being Sam's last onscreen appearance (unless Jennette changes her mind one day or the character is recast) is this in and of itself for her fans.

** The Poker Game Dice plays in #KillerTunaJump consist of Randy, who seems much younger than him, the weird harpoon fishing guy, BJ Malloy, who Dice finds extremely annoying (I'm guessing either his Mom made him hang out with him again or BJ is that clueless that he doesn't get Dice doesn't like him) and one (one!) boy who could be Dice's age and a friend of him...though he never appears again, so probably not a great one. Anyway, this poker game seems to confirm Goomer, Sam and Cat are literally his only real friends
* Goomer's mom [[KickTheDog saying one of the nastiest things ever]] on a Dan Schnieder show after she learns Goomer is in the MMA.
