Tried to make the BRB example a little clearer for a reader who hadn't just played the game.

* True, the Black Rabbit Brotherhood were a bunch of crazy Stalkers that terrorized parts of Krat, but they were also a family (most likely found family similar to the Fox and Cat) and they loved each other dearly. It's hard to not feel at least a little sorry for them when you cut down the Eldest and see them cry over his body, and the voice acting conveys their emotional pain and anger at P well. It doesn't help that right after that, you find the ledger, and learn that the Eldest was a protective older brother who was trying to get his siblings out of Krat to keep them safe. On top of that, while the surviving member always expresses relief and elation when The Eldest returns for the second fight, it's made clear that working with the Alchemists is something they did not want to do, and it weighs on them.

* True, the Black Rabbit Brotherhood were a bunch of crazy Stalkers that terrorized parts of Krat, but they were also a family (most likely found family similar to the Fox and Cat) and they loved each other dearly. It's hard very easy to not feel at least build up a little sorry head of red mist walking into the boss fight with the Eldest when they've been siccing giant mutated Carcasses on you all through the Malum District, and it's just as easy for them it all to dissipate when you cut down the Eldest man the others seemed to genuinely think of as their big brother and see them cry weeping over his body, lifeless body and furiously swearing revenge upon you.
** To really put
the voice acting conveys their emotional pain and anger at P well. It doesn't help that right stake through your heart if you weren't already feeling a bit guilty about what you just did, immediately after that, you find the ledger, and learn that fight there's a prominently placed collectible called the Black Rabbit Brotherhood Ledger. It reveals two things. First, the Eldest was a protective older brother who was trying scrabbling and scraping for absolutely pitiful amounts of Ergo, single digit quantities when you regularly spend thousands to get level up, so that he could move his younger siblings out of Krat to keep them safe. Krat. Second, each page has marginal scribblings from the younger ones and replies from the Eldest that demonstrate the kind of affectionate bickering anyone who actually has siblings is very familiar with.
**
On top of that, while the surviving member always expresses relief and elation when The Eldest returns for the second fight, it's made there is also a clear that working discomfort with the Alchemists is something they did not want to do, and it weighs on them.having unnaturally resurrected him.

** True they were delinquents that terrorized parts of Krat, but it's hard to not feel at least a little sorry for the Black Rabbit Brotherhood's shock and sorrow at the sudden death of their Eldest Brother. They were most likely found-family, similar to the Fox and Cat, and the voice acting conveys their anger and pain at P well. On top of that, while the surviving member always expresses relief and elation when The Eldest returns for the second fight, it's made clear that working with the Alchemists is something they did not want to do, and it weighs on them.
