** Kazuha has a moment, too. [[spoiler:After Orei dies (from wounds inflicted by Kazuha to prevent her from killing Kazuya in the midst of her metal breakdown), Kazuha hears her spirit forgiving her and asking her to look after Kazuya. Kazuha, [[BelatedLoveEpiphany far too late]], finally recognizes Orei as her mother, breaks down, and cries for her "mommy."]]

** Gengo has a moment [[spoiler:while explaining Ryuuichi's destiny to him. Gengo just wanted Ryuuichi to be happy with a wife and a family before things got worse, and tried to help whenever he could; however, he knew that because Maria's bloodline was within Ryuuichi, Kazuya, and Kazuha, it would never work out. In the end, he loses his son and the rest of his family distances themselves from him.]]

Doubles as heartwarming that she's opening up to her "rival" in this way and Rana even apologizes for being mean to her. Really shows just how emotionally messed up she is...she badly needs a hug and Kazuya isn't around to do it.
