** Similarly, the final scene opens on Drake, following his meltdown in Chemistry, curled up in the fetal position on the ping pong table, the epitome of a broken man. He doesn't acknowledge Megan when she comes in the room, he doesn't care she has his guitar, and when she complains about him ruining her favorite past time (torturing her brothers) by not reacting, he weakly but sincerely tells her, "I'm sorry," like the only part that bothers him is that he let another sibling down. He's the very picture of a man who's given up on life and believes he deserves everything that's happened to him. It's amazing how much pain Drake Bell can convey by barely talking or moving.

** The episode as a ''whole'' is all this, considering how drastically different it is from most episodes and arguably all Dan Schneider content: Drake screws up Josh's attempt to pass an exam that causes him to drop a grade point, prompting Josh, who's finally reached his limit, to declare that he is done with Drake and will see him more as a "roommate" than a brother. Drake initially brushes it off, thinking Josh will eventually get over it. Except Josh sticks to his guns and his life gets better while Drake's begin to fall apart, which eventually leads to Drake having a ''very'' shitty day in science class (ironically the ''same'' class that Josh failed in thanks to Drake messing it up for him) and finally admit fault to Josh over what he did and tearfully breakdown that ''he'' needs him far more than Josh needs him.

* The ending of "Mindy Loves Josh", Mindy breaks up with Josh, simply because Josh couldn't say the same back and thanks to Drake terrifying him over the idea of a former school rival saying "I love you".

* While it's debatably played for laughs, it's pretty hard not to feel bad for Josh in "Two Idiots and a Baby" where he goes absolutely nuts looking for Max when he mysteriously goes missing.
