* ''HomewardBoundTheIncredibleJourney'' anyone? Just to name a few scenes, Sassy meowing helplessly as she floats rapidly down river, [[TeamDad Shadow]] falling into the ditch and giving up hope, and them all making it back home in the end.
** Chance, Sassy and Shadow's owners driving to the animal shelter to pick up their pets and ''just missing'' said pets on the road after they'd managed to escape from the shelter. As if that weren't bad enough, for a brief moment Shadow had had a feeling that they should go back...
** The little girl lost in the mountains, crying for her mommy. If you're not reaching for the tissues, ''you have no soul''.
** Tough, anti-human dog Riley's backstory in the sequel: not only was he a Christmas present for a little boy who didn't want him, but the people who would have been his family ended up ''abandoning him on the side of the road''. As a ''puppy''!
* ...the fact that ''OldYeller'' wasn't included on here makes me wonder if you guys aren't bloody sociopaths!!!
** Too obvious?
*** The actual reason it's excluded here is that this is supposed to be the Disney section of "Western Animation" tearjerkers. Live Action Disney has its own page and all of these examples should be moved there.
* In Disney's ''BabesInToyland'', I wondered what was going through Mary's head as she came up to Barnaby and said she would marry him, against her will. (She did only do it so she could have enough money to support the children...What on earth was their relation to her anyways?)
* When Uncle Remus told Johnny about the dog in ''SongOfTheSouth''.

* This far on, and not a single mention of the moments in ''HunchbackOfNotreDame''? What? Let me see, just to count down, Esmeralda's plea in "God Help The Outcasts". Also qualifies as a {{Crowning Music of Awesome}}. Also, Quasimodo looking on, heartbroken, as Esmeralda and Phoebus practically make out behind him, and ripping the Ace of Hearts he holds in half. The reprise of "Heaven's Light" DOES. NOT. HELP. AT. ALL. And then they go and top themselves with Esmeralda's supposed [[DisneyDeath "death"]]. Good God, this troper is in tears just typing all of this...

* I honestly can't believe Up hasn't been mentioned here. The montage at the beginning where we find out that Ellie and and Carl can't have children, along with Ellie's death, are two of the most heartbreaking moments in the film. Coming from a troper who has never cried at any form of media and who teared up in the cinema, this says a lot.
* The part where Carl tells Dug he's a "bad dog" and tells him to get lost. Never have I seen such bewilderment and pain in a dog's eyes.
* "I was hiding under your porch because I love you." THE DAMS BROKE DOWN, FELLOW TROPERS.

[[AC:Film/Toy Story]]
* Seeing the icons of your childhood [[spoiler: clutching each other in horror due to being dumped into an incinerator ]] made this troper AND her boyfriend tear up and clutch each other in a similar fashion. Most of the people in the cinema seemed to be doing the same, while one girl shouted "Woody, no!"
* Andy [[spoiler: leaving the toys with Bonnie.]] Especially when he [[spoiler: gives his little speech about Woody.]]
** The expression on Andy's face when [[spoiler: he sees that he's going to have to give up Woody]]. Shows how far the Pixar animators have come with animating the humans.

** when you think about it, the racism in the film was mainly people being dumb and not knowing any better. Given that the message of the story was ''accept others irregardless'', the MoralDissonance loses some of it's harshness.

*Maybe it was just me, but in the move ''Paulie'', right when the titular parrot is being taken away and the little girl chases after his shouting "Paulie, come back to me! Come back to me Paulie!". It was heartbreaking.
