* The ''WebAnimation/ZeroPunctuation'' video for [[http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/108-Webcomics July 2nd, 2008]] is one enormous Take That at webcomics in general but ''Webcomic/CtrlAltDel'' in particular. Which seems sort of redundant considering he's already done a review of it.
** He also had a not-too-terribly subtle jab at Gamespot in his video response to the SSBB fandom backlash, regarding their [[EightPointEight firing a reviewer for giving "Kane & Lynch" a bad score]]:

** His "review" of ''VideoGame/DukeNukemForever'' is essentially a Take That against the whole series and anyone who's still a fan of it.

* ''WebAnimation/HomestarRunner'':
** Strong Bad once received a WebAnimation/StrongBadEmail asking if he ever played mini-golf. The sender signed his name as "Somebody no one cares about in Iowa". Strong Bad wittily remarks "Also known as, everyone in Iowa".
** In "fan clubs", Strong Bad not only pokes fun at [[TakeThatAudience the Homestar Runner fandom]], but goes on to claim that the worst word that can be paired up with "fan" is, of course, [[FanFiction fiction]]. He ''also'' took a jab at {{Mary Sue}}s with the line, "You can't just start adding terrible new characters!".
** In the email "rough copy" Homestar advertises his Malinko-brand (or possibly just Malinko-flavored) flavored water as "crystal clear like domestic beer". Aside from the inherent Homestarishness of the rhyme, this could also be a crack at mainstream American beers, specifically, the derision with which it's met by foreigners and snooty American beer enthusiasts.
** The [=SBEmail=] "independent" pokes fun at both LeFilmArtistique and trendy "indie" movies like ''Film/{{Juno}}''.
** "Comic Book Movie" (a bonus e-mail from one of the Strong Bad Email compilation [=DVDs=]) is a downright vicious jab at AdaptationDecay in superhero movies.

* An episode of ''WebAnimation/RetardedAnimalBabies'' had the characters go on to the Internet. They go by the site WebAnimation/HappyTreeFriends, which one of the characters says, "All they do is copy us". A Halloween episode also had one of the characters dressed as Flippy.
* An ebolaworld cartoon had Taco-Man beating up a dead hacker. At one point, he says, "AndThisIsFor WebAnimation/HomestarRunner's popularity!". In his first e-mail, people accused him of ripping off Strong Bad e-mails. In another e-mail, people are given instructions on how to write to Taco-Man. One of the wrong ways to write his name was to write "Strong Bad". Taco-Man was actually referenced in a WebAnimation/HomestarRunner Halloween cartoon.

* ''WebAnimation/LuckyDayForever'' IS one to the superficiality of Reality shows like Series/AmericanIdol because it depicts a future where the present-day glorification of the celebrity moron has been taken to society-destroying extremes.

* ''WebAnimation/TheFrolloShow'' takes potshots at WebVideo/TheIrateGamer at every chance it can get. He winds up screwing things up on a regular basis, and eventually [[spoiler: has his head bitten off by snake Jafar.]]
** There's also a jab towards ''Series/TwoAndAHalfMen''. After Gaston's death, the producers attempt to replace him with Ashton Kutcher as Frollo's sidekick. Frollo refuses and commits suicide.
** Two of Hell's rules also adjust their crosshairs towards [[DiscreditedMeme 9gag jokes and Soviet Russia jokes]].
** For the entire duration [[WesternAnimation/AdventureTime Lemongrab]] was in charge of the show, he calls several works as being "unacceptable" compared to other works that have been better received by most, which includes the Irate Gamer.

* ''WebAnimation/TheSuperPonyPowerHour'':
** One bit shows a megaphone playing Music/{{Ylvis}}' infamous "The Fox", only for it to get ripped out by adult Spike.
** Another recreates a WesternAnimation/{{Freakazoid}} bit with this: "The scariest thing in the world would be if they gave Sinbad another TV show!"

* The webtoon ''WebAnimation/BonusStage'' is full of of Take Thats, roughly on par with ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy'', but its creator Matt Wilson ''really'' doesn't like his fanbase: he has levelled several Take Thats against Bonus Stage FanFiction, FanDumb and the fan wiki.

* One of the biggest Take Thats of all time probably comes from the [[Website/TheOnion Onion News Network]], with their story [[http://www.theonion.com/video/victim-in-fatal-car-accident-tragically-not-glenn,14380/ "Victim In Fatal Car Accident Tragically Not Glenn Beck".]]

** There's also one to ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyEquestriaGirls'', using a scene from ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy'':

* TheDefrosters do this pretty much ever episode in reference to ''VideoGame/WorldOfWarcraft'', ''Series/DegrassiTheNextGeneration'', ''Literature/HarryPotter'', and everything else they can think of. The ''VideoGame/WorldOfWarcraft'' player also justified playing ''TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons'' by saying she was playing 4th edition.

* TakeThat/GiIvaSunner

** ''WebVideo/YuGiOhTheAbridgedSeries'' also delivers a well-deserved TakeThat to [[JerkAss people who flag YouTube videos]], as happened to the series - "I'm flagging Website/YouTube videos [[CompensatingForSomething to compensate for the fact that I have a very small penis!"]]

** The third Season Zero Abridged episode is essentially one long TakeThat at the numerous times Website/YouTube took LK down for copyright violations.

** "[[http://www.collegehumor.com/video/3980096/we-didnt-start-the-flame-war We Didn't Start The Flame War]]" (itself an AffectionateParody of Music/BillyJoel's "[[WeDidntStartTheBillyJoelParodies We Didn't Start The Fire]]) is a big TakeThat against Internet FanDumb.
** A big TakeThat at Wikipedia's expense in "Professor Wikipedia", who starts delivering a lecture on chemical reactions that has some interesting things in it:

* ''Roleplay/DarwinsSoldiers'' has a ''very'' unsubtle TakeThat aimed at Paris Hilton.

** During her review of ''Film/SpiceWorld'', there was an affectionate (she loves Creator/MontyPython and Ricky Gervais) TakeThat to British Comedy: "I ''think'' they're trying to make this funny. I'm not sure, they ''are'' British."

* LetsPlay/{{Chuggaaconroy}} made a similar TakeThat to IG's negative review of ''VideoGame/KirbysEpicYarn'' in his LetsPlay of the game.

* The LetsPlay/{{Yogscast}} have had many a TakeThat over the years, often targeting films they dislike. One of their more blatant ones, however, would be in their ''[[Machinima/YogscastMinecraftSeries Shadow Of Israphel]] Animated'' videos, specifically [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYjUrX6macY&channel=BlueXephos this one]], in which Israphel tries bypassing LetsPlay/LewisBrindley and LetsPlay/SimonLane, in this case acting as guards for [[VideoGame/PapersPlease Arstotzka]]. After initially being rejected for not having a matching passport, he tries disguising himself as WebVideo/GameChap [[note]]who was thrown out of the Yogscast for rude behaviour and has since been bashed many times for what the group perceives to be sexist content[[/note]]. He ''immediately'' gets laughed at and denied entry for being "a creepy bastard". It is worth noting in this case that while the Yogscast did not design the animation for the sketch (a fan did that, with [[LetsPlay/HatFilms Trott and Ross]] adding their own dialogue later), they did upload it on their channel, thus approving it.

** Abridged Series do this all the time, even the more obscure ones. Hbi2k and Khenpoe actually justify the existence of their ''WebVideo/{{Berserk|Abridged}}'' and ''Bleach'' series by saying they were tired of watching crappy parodies; Bennett The Sage called ''Code Geass'' a pussy abridged series; and Megami33 proclaimed [[WebVideo/SailorMoonAbridged her series]] the only good one on Website/YouTube.

*** And let's not forget "According to Wiki/{{Wikipedia}}, we don't exist!"

** And one to the C&D of ''VideoGame/MyLittlePonyFightingIsMagic'' via a ParodyCommercial for the UsefulNotes/PlayStation4. In the commercial, Applejack and Twilight play the game on an XboxOne. The console then reports it for copyright, causing the library to explode.

--> When the video starts, a car pulls up to a movie theatre, with the sign saying "Heartbreaker". "Looks like they're going to watch [[Film/ThePhantomMenace The Phantom Menace."]]

** Now, Eddie Murphy could do something he couldn't for most of the 90s and 2000s...be funny."

* Creator/AchievementHunter have had their share over the years. However, one of the more blatant ones would be Jack Patillo, noticing the coincidental, if morbid, trend of a celebrity being mentioned in a video and dying shortly after being mentioned (before the video gets released, shortly after, etcetera). Jack attempts to ''invoke this'' by naming his entire team after ''conservative talk show hosts''.

* WebVideo/TheNostalgiaChick takes quite a few potshots at Creator/{{Disney}} in her videos. So much so that in her overview of Franchise/{{Disney Princess}}es that a [[InstantAwesomeJustAddNinja ninja]] was sent to [[HeKnowsTooMuch silence her at the end]].

* [[WebVideo/RebelTaxi RebelRaxi's]] video "RebelTaxi Hates 90s KIDS Rant #PrimeTimeDCNation @CartoonNetwork" begins with a thinly veiled parody of {{WebAnimation/Benthelooney}} exemplifying the exact thing the video addresses.
