The real gameplay comes from using a mysterious (male) spirit to overcome the obstacles of the story, including a group of people from a facility who wish to use her powers for their own selfish purposes. Despite how useful the spirit is, the girl is scared of him, and she has no real control over him, leading him to do annoying or destructive things just for fun. Eventually, it is revealed that the spirit is actually [[spoiler:the protagonist's twin brother, who died when they were babies.]] Events of the story include: the girl being inside an institution for a significant part of her life, and the girl using her powers to take revenge on a group of bullies (which leads to her being considered insane by some of the characters).\\

* This video game is a more recent twist on a series that allowed people to gain knowledge through entertainment, which originally took the form of a [[The90s 90s-era]] [[ShowWithinAShow computer game framed as a TV show]] (or vice versa) in which one [[NoFourthWall directly interacted with the host]]. In this take, however, the show/game has come under the ownership of an [[EvilInc entertainment company with sinister intentions]] - one whose name, logo, and jingle pop up frequently throughout the game. If one manages to get the correct route, they'll find out the full extent of the company's evil deeds, not least of which being that they have [[TrappedInTVLand trapped the host of the game against their will]], intent on forcing them to act out their role for the rest of time.
