Hawk Moth is not happy with her.]]

** [[Characters/MiraculousLadybugHawkMoth Gabriel Agreste]] would rather terrorize Paris in search for the Miraculouses to revive his wife Emily by creating a timeline where she is alive than being a good father for Adrien, whom is unhappy with his absence and his cold demeanor. Adding salt to the wound is that Emily made a last video stating that she doesn't want to be revived, and the Kwamis know that if he uses the ultimate wish, the universe will be destroyed and reshaped in the way the user wants, meaning Gabriel would only revive the people he cares for.
*** In the first episode of season 5, he could've solved all his problems by giving his past self a USB with instructions to fix the Peacock Miraculous so Emily never died, but his obsession with Ladybug made him fail that task, which in turn made Nathalie realize Gabriel is too stupid and reckless to be trusted with such power.
** Gabriel also rejects that Adrien now loves Marinette, he wants him to love Kagami for a financial and social deal with Tomoe rather than genuine happiness for Adrien. Ironically, Adrien had at some point dated Kagami, but they broke up because she couldn't stand that Adrien was making many excuses to ditch her in dates to become Cat Noir.
** Then he was fooled into entering a wax museum where Ladybug and Cat Noir pretended to be statues so he be captured, Adrien already deployed his cataclysm but Gabriel used it on his arm so he can escape instead on the floor, now he is slowly dying

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Arcane}}'':
** Marcus falls into this category because he betrayed Greyson and allied with Silco wanting to replace her as Piltover's sheriff, but didn't expect them to kill her, now he is working for Silco to cover his betrayal and Silco's shady deals, he would also kill Caytlin Kiramman when she was investigating his corruption, despite being the daughter of a city councelor. His actions are more from being a coward and keep lying to himself that he is a good man than actual malice, he could've solved things if he came clean and arrested Silco and himself.
** The Piltover councelors are also in this category not much for malice but for callousness against the Zaunites, they chose to ignore the famine, crimes, deceases and pollution of the undercity and only focus on their pride and greed.
** Ambessa Medarda is here for malice as she is a warlord that conquers lands and keeps convincing herself that is for the safety of her family but in reality she is just a ruthless and cruel thief and killer, which is a reason many nations are against her. When Mel was young, she killed the princess of a fallen kingdom to give Mel a lesson of not have mercy.

** [[Characters/GravityFallsBillCipher Bill Cipher]] makes a [[DealWithTheDevil "deal" with Dipper]] by taking over his body in hopes of destroying the Author's journal. Yet, for no reason other than "[[TooKinkyToTorture pain is hilarious]]", Bill deliberately tortured his possessed body despite the fact that he needs the body to be in good condition in order to accomplish his goal. This ended up biting him because his weakened body left Bill unable to chase after Mabel, who has the journal in her own hand.

** Eddie is a coward scientist that ditched the campers and leave them to die to the Indominus rex, just for him to be eaten by her
** Dr. Henry Wu is as shortsighted as his incarnation in the movie, he created the Scorpius rex that is part velociraptor, tyrannosaur, carnotaur, scorpion fish and tree frog as a prototype for Indominus rex, but at the first test run, Henry and his staff almost died with the Scorpius' poison, then disobeyed Simon Masrani's orders to kill Scorpius to prevent her from killing the staff and the fauna, but instead he frozen her thinking he can fix her and tame her to serve humans. When the park's power grid shut down, Scorpius thawed her cryogenic prison and she was like her cousin Indominus rex, more of a serial killer than a predator that hunted for sport than hunger, that is because of Henry making her as a mashed up genetic salad, with dificulties to breath, think and feed. Like in the original movie where Henry stated he made sure dinosaurs can't breed because he made them all female but he put african frog DNA that change genders in a single gender environment, Henry did the same mistake but instead of changing genders, Scorpius breeds asexually and she treats her daughter more like a rival as they both fight for food and territory than being a loving family, which Henry didn't know and Brooklyn scolded him for. Good news, the campers and Blue killed the Scorpiuses in the collapsing old Jurassic park welcoming center and broken Henry's computer so he can't make another one, bad news, they found a piece of Indominus' DNA despite being eaten by Mosasaur, which he will use to make Indoraptor
** Kash is the engineer of MantaCorp, but he is a textbook psychopath, he went along with his boss' plan to have an underground dinosaur fight club, seeing it like if it was a videogame which he put health bars to the dinosaurs, aside that Kash cares nothing for the welfare of the dinosaurs, Darius pointed out that is not a profitable business plan if a dinosaur dies every time they force them to fight as it will cost them alot of money, time and resources to clone a dinosaur to replace each one that dies, and even before presenting them to their customers. Then he used Dr. Mae Turner's dino neurology research to invent a brain controlling chip to turn the dinos into giant RC toys, not only this is beyond unethical, this will be completely detremental for the dinosaur, formost the stress of not knowing why they can't control their own bodies, if the chip malfunctions either will fry the dino's brain and kill them or will free it from its control and the dino will kill the person controlling them, also if Kash's chip was known to public, either it will give MantaCorp the worst PR in animal abuse and/or that will give Kash the oportunity to develop his chip further to control other animals and even humans, he'd do it as he is not above killing the children campers. If the dinos had been sold as RC toys, they'd also die if the owner forget the dino needs to sleep, drink and eat to stay alive as they'd only focus on the controller's bateries, which if they run out, the chip won't work and the dino will kill the owner. Also that Kash was easily manipulated by Darius' lies and adulations to not suspect he is rescuing the dinos
** Daniel Kon being the CEO of MantaCorp and Kenji's dad was good at manipulating his son and the campers at first, but the other campers saw through him that he doesn't care for the welfare of dinosaurs, also Mae started to reflect on that. The main reason he didn't allowed cellphones and internet in his island is so noone knows the truth of his business plan in selling breathing dino toys, he only allowed Kash to have a universal cellphone as he would never do the right thing. He also made Kenji turn against his friends making him believe he knows best for the company needing the money to feed the dinos, until Daniel disobeyed Kenji in not putting the chip in Bumpy, being Ben's ankylosaur pet/daughter. Is until the MantaCorp island goes nuclear with the core overheating for the chips, Daniel forces Kenji to leave everyone else to die, but this made Kenji figure Daniel only cares about himself, reflecting Daniel never sent a rescue team to pick him and the campers up from Nublar if he is rich, even a middle class couple did it in Jurassic park 3. After the kids were rescued, Daniel was arrested for his abuse of his dinosaurs, employees, Kenji and his friends and other corporate crimes, and Mae and Kenji decided to keep MantaCorp island a secret so noone exploit the dinos

* ''WesternAnimation/StarVsTheForcesOfEvil'':
** Ludo was the first leader of the forces of evil, he wanted to steal Star's wand to rule the multiverse, but his plans are really stupid and he blamed his henchmen for his own failures, the time he could've easily stolen the wand he flinched because of his fear of hair, and because of that, Toffee convinced the monsters to betray him. Then he got a new army of rats and new sense of recilleanse but when he managed to conquer Mewni he did it to pretend to be a benevolent and wholesome king instead of being one, and his conquest wasn't even his plan, it was toffee using his half wand talking to him. Then when Toffee revived and vomited Ludo, Toffee informed Ludo that none of the conquest was his idea. The main reason he did this is to spite his abusive parents
** Mewmans are human settlers that came to Mewni and did genocide on monsters, stole their land and made holidays celebrating their massacres while portraying themselves as the victims, which made Star reflect mewmans are in the wrong side of history. They are quick to have prejudges against any creature that isn't mewman, unless they have money and power because that's the only thing they value, mewmans even have diplomatic alliance with LITERAL demons and Star is the ex of Tom Lucitor. Mewmans were so reliant on the powers of the queen that they are unable to think and act on their own. They are reluctant to trust Eclipsa despite she is a saint that want to make things right in both factions, they didn't even told her about their needs and they still label her a traitor, and they are forcing Moon to still be their queen despite she doesn't care about ruling anymore
** [[Characters/StarVsTheForcesOfEvilTheMagicHighCommission The Magic High Commission]] is a group of officials that at first they seem to be uptight pencilneck beaurocrats that where enforcing the status quo of having mewman suppremacy and oppression of monsters, but then is revealed they are far worse, Rombulus imprisoned potentially innocent people in crystals for his "gut feeling" and for petty reasons, a deliverer gave him a cold pizza. But worse they betrayed Queen Eclipsa because she escaped and married a monster she loved named Globgor after forcing her to marry a pompous mewman named Shastakan, they cristalized Eclipsa and Globgor then stole Princess Meteora to be raised in a prison school and replaced her with a random peasant girl. They pretended to be on board to make things right, but Rombulus in particular released Globgor to prove he is a deranged murderer, if he is right he'd put everyone in danger to spite Eclipsa, if he is wrong, he and the MHC will look like idiots and give sympathy to Eclipsa, the latter happened.
** Mina Loveberry is a warrior from the time of Queen Solaria, Eclipsa's mom, at first she was a poor rag peddler but then she was inspired by Solaria to defend her people from monster, by defending she meant being a psychopathic genocidal racist that will kill anyone that isn't mewman. At the end of the series she got an army of giant superpowered armored mewmans with laser swords to kill all monster
** Except for Ludo, all other previous mentions were idea of [[Characters/StarVsTheForcesOfEvilMoonButterfly Moon Butterfly]], she did it because she blamed Eclipsa that she lost her memory and ended in the Pie country, although it was her fault for fighting Meteora when Eclipsa was about to calm her down and making Eclipsa having to chose from saving her or Meteora. She gave Mina and the mewmans the power to kill all monsters but she thought Mina would settle in only banishing them, and when she tried to remove the power, a loophole in the spell made her unable to remove it, it became her fault lots of innocents die for a petty revenge that wasn't Eclipsa's fault. In turn now Star would hate Moon briefly for betraying her aswell knowing well Star was helping Eclipsa make things right, Star wished Moon died. Because of Moon's stupid idea, now the Butterfly girls must destroy magic to save the monsters, but in a multiversal scale, they killed more people than they saved because of beings that need magic to live and because of separation of dimensions

** The show's version of [[Characters/DuckTales2017FlintheartGlomgold Flintheart Glomgold]] lives and breathes this trope. His lying and dirty deals made him the second richest duck in the world, but his obsession with beating Scrooge leads to him constantly coming up with, [[NotSoHarmlessVillain largely]], idiotic schemes to defeat him that do nothing but waste money. This reaches its peak when Glomgold loses his memory and is actually happy for once when he's not thinking about Scrooge, but when he gets his memory back he returns to his evil ways.

* ''WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender'': The first in his line. Both [[Characters/AvatarTheLastAirbenderFireLordOzai Fire Lord Ozai]] father and grandfather were evil imperialists, but Sozin was a WellIntentionedExtremist who wanted to be (or be seen as) a BenevolentDictator; and his genocide of the Air Nomads, while vile and inexcusable, made pragmatic sense, as they were a relatively small community, unlikely to ever accept Fire Nation rule, and after Roku's death the Avatar would be reborn in their ranks. Azulon is implied to have been a [[PragmaticVillainy tactical genius]] who at least had some affection for his family (sans Ozai). Ozai, by contrast, is as evil as they were without any sense; he banishes his loyal son, starting him on the path to ending his reign, and his solution to squashing rebellion is to burn down the Earth Kingdom. That is, the largest (both in landmass and population) area of the Fire Nation's Empire. Essentially becoming "King" of a land of ash, that produces no money or crops for the mainland; because he'd rather that than rebellious colonies.

* Lou Pottingsworth III, aka [[WesternAnimation/CodenameKidsNextDoor the Toiletnator]]. The fact that his only weapons are plungers and toilet paper shows that you're about to see some raw stupidity and weakness in the Adult villain business when he shows up. Even higher-up baddies like Mr. Boss and Father consider him to be the worst villain of the bunch.

* ''WesternAnimation/DarkwingDuck'': In an episode where Quackerjack teams up with Megavolt, Quackerjack pulls out a fire truck the size of a bumper car with a hose that acts as a flamethrower. After he uses it, there is this exchange between the villains (in case you missed the point, Quackerjack's stunt had set the entire city block on fire, and they were in the middle of it)[[note]]it should be noted that Quackerjack ''is'' insane, though that's no excuse for setting the block on fire[[/note]]:

** [[Characters/TheDragonPrinceViren Lord Viren]] is a human supremacist terrorist that betrayed his best friend Harrow, wanted to kill the princes of Katolis and Xadia and engage war against Xadia, claiming is all to protect humanity, but in reality his cause is based on lies, paranoia and assuming the worst of elves and dragons, he uses this as an excuse to kill and exploit all the magic creatures he wants as he doesn't care for the consequences of doing so, he also does this to deny is his fault he made everything worse with dark magic, he is also hypocritically willing to kill any human that defies and criticizes him, he made a false flag attack on the human kingdoms to launch war when the human kings didn't believed him that Xadia will exterminate them. Even if Viren wanted peace, Xadia will kill him and all humans, not because he was right of xadians wanting to do it all along and not only to get revenge for killing the royal family and destroying Lux aurea, Viren's invasion will convince them humans are a virus and xadians must kill them to protect the planet.

It's rare that the villain is actually trying to accomplish another goal with pollution being an unwanted (or even wanted) side effect. Looten Plunder, Hoggish Greedly, Sly Sludge, and ([[DependingOnTheWriter sometimes]]) Dr. Blight at least [[CorruptCorporateExecutive try to make money]], yet consistently choose those methods that will cause Captain Planet to stop them, and with the exception of Sly Sludge they never take the hint. In the crossover with ''WesternAnimation/OKKOLetsBeHeroes'', Lord Boxman (himself an avowed CardCarryingVillain) [[LampshadeHanging directly points out]] that Dr. Blight's plan to pollute the world doesn't really get them anything.

* In ''WesternAnimation/TheDragonPrince''

** Claudia is following Viren's footsteps in his quest to conquer Xadia, she initially didn't do it out of bias against Xadia but because of blindly believing her dad is right and she still believes it, to the point to betray her friends and help him kill Zym whom she adores, she continues to do struggles to follow Viren's agenda, despite that everyone else is telling her that Viren only cares for his ego, and even Viren now told her that he doesn't want to conquer Xadia anymore. Also despite she told Soren that xadians love to bully and spite humans for being worthless and stupid animals, she hypocritically is dating an elf, that likely doesn't know or ignores her mindset on Xadia and her worst actions against xadians.
** Kasef enters to this category because despite he and all humans were fooled with Viren's false flag attack, he was too impulsive in going to war without thinking in the consequences and he was rude to Ezran about making peace
** Sol regem provocked the initial war against humans as he saw them as parasites and wanted to kill them all because Ziard refused to not use dark magic
** Karim was defying his sister Janai because of his prejudges against humans and his desire to keep outdated and toxic traditions

** [[Characters/TheOwlHouseEmperorBelos Phillip Whittabane]] is a tyranical dictator that wants to kill all witches of the Boiling isles and lie he wants to protect them because of his bias against demons, he felt so confident in killing all witches that he made the draining spell and leaving before making sure everyone died. Most importantly because he feels betrayed his brother Caleb married a witch named Evalyn, he killed him believing is to save his soul and made clones of him that they all end up betraying him. He tried to convince Luz Noceda to join his cause because of his desire to interact with other human, but Luz never liked him for being a hypocritical racist prick that only cared for his own delusions, so Luz used his coven patching glove to also kill Phil with his own draining spell and force him to his real monster form. then the titan gave Luz his powers to nearly kill him and her second family finish him off. Even if Phil was successful in killing everyone in the Titan island, there are still other populated titan islands that will know of his genocide and will kill him if he stayed. Even if he returned to earth as human form, noone in modern era would believe him of witches and demons, and even if he had evidence of his evil deeds, humans will hate him for being a mass murderer and he'd be executed or jailed.
** Odalia blight is the abusive mother of the Blight clan, she never cared about her family as individuals but as company assets, as she fired most engineers of her company to save money and overworked her husband so he missed out his kids growing up. Also as copies of herself as she forced her children dye their hair to look like hers and forced Amitty cut ties with Willow because Odalia cared more for her own social status than their friendship, and didn't know she was in a relationship with Luz. Worst of all she willingly helped Phillip in his mass genocide thinking it will benefit the whole family, not knowing or not caring it will kill her too, which made her family turn against her. After the collector conquered the isles, Odalia acted as a step mom for The collector, although they live in the apocalypse of a child's imagination, she is still greedy and wants to manipulate Collector to shape reality the way she wants.
** Kikimora was Phil's main assistant and did everything to his bidding, until he betrayed her and everyone else, in the apocalypse she planned to replace Phil as emperor of Boiling isles instead of learning her lesson of being like him
** The collector cult are a bunch of fanatics that hunted down the titans to almost extinction, believing the collector wanted that, but collector never wanted them to kill them and because of them the collector was unfairly imprisoned in a disk. Judging by the size of their skull hats, they killed baby titans aswell. Their genocide caused King to be the last Titan alive, if it wasn't for King being raised by a loving family, his first instinct would be killing the cult members to avenge his species, which he would do if they provocke him, and for titans being physical gods
** Jacob Hopkins is the lite version of Phil Wittabane, his main goal is only to prove witches and demons are real to become famous, but he got wrong that they want human teeth to time travel to Mars

** Lord Tirek is just a plain and bland villain with infinite lust for power and destruction, he also convinced Discord to betray Equestria and help him steal the magic to then also betray him and steal his magic. Ironically that was Tirek's downfall as Discord's redemption made the Tree of harmony give the mane 6 an ultra upgrade to strip off all the magic he stole
** Cozy Glow is a little psychopath for her young age, she is very cunning and good at manipulating her adversaries, thinking 3 steps ahead of other's actions, but she understimate that ponies and other creatures would work together when they realize she is a threat to the existance of all the world since she wanted to drain all the magic in the world so she rule it with iron fist. First of all, even if she drained all the magic in the world, there are creatures and ponies physically stronger and faster than her that will beat her up if they want to and wouldn't have restrain on her being a child considering how much damage her plan does to the world, ponies need magic to control the weather, grow food, move the celestial bodies, so her plan would cause a ecological apocalypse, which is a main reason they would never accept Cozy as their ruler. But is not like she cares, the students of the school of friendship almost died because she was draining the magic they needed for a cloud walking spell that she knew were going to Cloudsdale, she would kill Starlight and the student 6 after she was caught in her plans, even Twilight gave her a second chance but she admitted she'd try again to conquer the world, then she was arrested and sent to Tartarus next to Tirek, whom is her idol
** The latest 3 of them would join an evil team, practically an evil family, to conquer equestria, they were about to figure why friendship is the best plan for all purposes and could've redeemed, but they refused and only agreed to wotk together to overthrow all governments then decide what to rule individually. They did the same mistake in making themselves such a big target that all species in the world will turn against them, they were shot with a ultra rainbow laser with a redemption spell but they still chose their lust for power, meaning they are lost causes, so Celestia, Luna and Discord chose to petrify them to make sure they don't bother anyone ever again, Chrysalis tried to go for the kill in the last minute.
** Starlight Glimmer was initially this when she made a cutie mark cult which she stripped the cutie marks of ponies that wanted equality, but she hipocritically didn't removed hers and lied that she used a magic staff to remove it. Then she was stalking Twilight Sparkle and use a time travel spell to make sure she doesn't meet her friends, but that will cause many apocalyptic scenarios as the mane 6 are the only ones capable the defeat Equestria's most dangerous criminals and terrotists. She did it because she was sadden her friend Sunburst went separate ways after he got his cutie mark before her, but the real root problem is them losing contact and she thinking that's the reason they stopped being friends.
