** Not to mention that his Japanese VA also voiced Walter C. Dornez
*** The techniques he uses in his werewolf form are based off of Jon Talbain from ''{{Darkstalkers}}'', and those of his normal form are similar to another aristocratic fellow from Arc System Works: [[GuiltyGear Slayer]].

Moving ALL shout outs in the character sheet over here. There may be a few repeats and there is a need for an in-depth reorganizing, but they still belong here.

Added DiffLines:

* The plot of Carl's [[TheSevenMysteriesjoke ending resembles the "six mysteries" event in Kingdom Hearts II... with added hilarity. The sound of a crying girl in the restroom? That is the School Nurse Litchi trying to get into a miniskirt one size too small. It also references Detective Conan, for obvious reasons, and even Scooby Doo, since one of the group members calls them "Mystery Inc."
** It also references DetectiveConan, for obvious reasons, and even ScoobyDoo, since one of the group members calls them "Mystery Inc."
* One of Ragna's costumes in ''Calamity Trigger'' bears semblance to the [[{Batman} Joker]].
* A few of Jin's color palletes in Continuum Shift reference to the following characters:
** One references [[UminekoNoNakuKoroNi Frederica Bernkastel]]. For the [[{Tsundere} tsundere complex]], [[TheStoic stoicness, [[AnIcePerson icy cool attitude]], [[{Yandere} yandere tendancies]] and [[PsychoticSmirk psychotic smirk]] in certain situations or to certain persons. It can also be regarded as [[LuckyStar Kagami Hiiragi]]. For more added [[{Tsundere} tsundere]] fun! [[YourMileageMayVary Your mileage may vary]].
** He has another one who is [[NeonGenesisEvangelion Asuka Langley Soryu]]. For even more added Tsundere charm!
** Another one who is [[NeonGenesisEvangelion Rei Ayanami]].
* Another one who is [[CodeGeass C.C]] in her R2 appearance.
* Taokaka's Astral Heat is a barrage of attacks, as the end of which she says [[FistOfTheNorthStar "You're already dead!"]]
* Genesic Emerald Tager Buster references to Genesic ''GaoGaiGar''. Tager even gets a GaoGaiGar pallete as DLC.
** Speaking of color palletes, Tager als has one referencing ''TheBigO''.
* It can be argued that Tager takes quite a few cues from the Nakajima sisters in ''MagicalGirlLyricalNanoha''.
** [[{Cyborg} Cyborgs.]]
** Tager's gauntlets look like upsized Revolver Knuckles.
** Melee-centric but with ranged secondary ability (Divine Buster and the... [[BuffySpeak magnetic ball thing, Spark Bolt]]).
** ''GaoGaiGar'' references for both sides.
** [[spoiler:MeteorMove... Why is this a spoiler? That's because it's a brainwashed Gin-nee who's throwing them around.]]
* Tager 2D, a forward dash, resembles a similar move from The Comicbook/IncredibleHulk in the latter's CapcomVsWhatever appearances, though Tager does not have a diagonal upward dash to follow through with, unlike the Hulk. Maybe the next sequel, Arc System Works?
* Tager joke ending has Kokonoe have him perform the Golden Tager [[GetterRobo Sun. SHINE SPAAAAAAAAAAAARK!]]
* [[spoiler:Litchi's FaceHeelTurn can give you vibes of [[TalesOfDestiny Leon Magnus]] and [[FatalFury Rock Howard]]]].
* ''Teach me, [[strike:[[{{Tsukihime}} Ciel-sensei]]]] Ms. Litchi!''
* Arakune's gag reel mentions quite a few internet memes.
* Arakune's Astral Finish. Doesn't that giant eye remind you of a [[GiantRobo certain eye belonging to a villain in an OVA involving a kid with a giant mecha?]]
* Bang himself is loaded with them.
** His design and HotBlooded personality is based on Ryoma from ''GetterRobo''. The sketchy art style and crazy, spinny eyes in his Astral Finish are also a homage to the show and manga.
** He also wears a ''KamenRider'' belt and occasionally performs the [[TransformationSequence henshin]] pose.
*** Even his page quote in the character sheet is one to KamenRiderStronger!
** [[SuperRobotWars CHESTO!]]
*** Speaking of ''SuperRobotWars'', the Bang Install song overrides all background music currently playing, just like Elzam von Branstein's "Trombe!" theme. It doesn't, however, override custom soundtracks, and it only lasts for 1 round.
** Bang also has many the similarity to another [[TengenToppaGurrenLagann Hot Blooded Determinator with a BFS]].
* Scope out [[http://img709.imageshack.us/img709/7109/hazamacolorchart.jpg Terumi's color sheet]]. MichaelJackson, [[{{Hellsing}} Alucard]], TheJoker, {{Lupin III}}, [[YuGiOh Seto Kaiba]] and ''Dick Tracy''.
** [[YuGiOhTheAbridgedSeries No wonder he likes to screw the rules so much...]]
** When he turns into Terumi after his Astral, his 2nd costume makes him look like [[{{Naruto}} Gaara]].
*** And, of course, the [[EyesAlwaysShut obvious]] [[CheshireCatGrin similarities]] to [[{{Bleach}} Gin Ichimaru]]. Right down to the same [[DougErholtz English voice actor]].
**** And one of his costumes looks like the white Haori and black garb of the soul reapers.
** "[[JoJosBizarreAdventure DIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIE!]]"
*** Speaking of which, his appearance is very [[JoJosBizarreAdventure Jotaro]]-like.
**** More like Dio.
* Terumi has several lines:
** [[MortalKombat GET OVER HERE!]]
** [[TheShining "Heeeeeeere's Terumi!"]]
** [[TheDarkKnight "Come on, Carl Clover! Why so serious?!]]
** [[StarWars "Strike me down with all of your hatred!"]]
* One of Mu-12's upcoming DLC colors is based on Dizzy from ''GuiltyGear''.
* Makoto's full of StreetFighter references. While her fighting style is already similar to [[LetsFightLikeGentlemen Dudley's]], her [[SNKBoss Unlimited mode]] pretty much gives her his entire moveset (and taunt). In addition, her [[FinishingMove Astral Finish]] is an over-the-top version of the Seichusen Godonzuki, an attack used by a StreetFighter who [[NamesTheSame shares her name]]. Unlimited Makoto can also perform that same fighter's Abare Tosanami.
** She randomly shouts [[TheTick "SPOOOOOON!"]] when performing her drive.
** One of her Distortion Drives resembles [[{{Cyberbots}} Jin Saotome]]'s [[MegatonPunch Blodia Punch]].
* ''{{Hellsing}}'' should be all that needs to be said in regard to Valkenhayn.
* [[spoiler: Saya's overall look is possibly a reference to Himiko, an ancient Japanese shaman queen which apparently ruled in the Yayoi period. And we know somebody in this game that has Yayoi as her last name...]]

These are my first additions, and I'm not too good at giving links yet, think I can get some help. Also, feel free to add on.

* The title, main characters, and guest characters of "Teach Me, Miss Litchi!", would very well be a shout out to Tsukihime's "Teach Me Ciel-Sensei!".
** Litchi is a parody of Ciel, Taokaka is a parody of Neco-Arc, and Lao Jiu could possibly be a parody of Seven/Nanako
** Meat buns are mentioned often throughout the "Teach Me, Miss Litchi!". In comparison, Curry is a common food topic in "Teach Me, Ciel-Sensei!"

** After said accident, our hero wakes up, hardly remembering anything (Shiki gets it worse though), and notices something terribly wrong with their body, Shiki seeing lines in his eyes (Eyes of Death Perception) and Ragna having the Azure Grimoire/BlazBlue attached to where his formerly cut off right arm was at.
** As Ragna wakes up, he meets Jubei, who teaches him how to use the Azure Grimoire/BlazBlue, as well as telling him not to use the power or "mistake the power of the azure for his own". In comparison, soon after he leaves the hospital, Shiki meets Aoko Aozaki, who scolds him for using his eyes for the cruel purpose of showing her what he can do, and gives him a magic pair of glasses that blocks the lines of death from his view.

*** Arakune and the infestation of bugs can be compared to Nrvnqsr (Nero) Chaos and his chaos of 666 'black beasts'. Arakune and Nero both have some kind of relation with the big bad.

*Some Tsukihime fans may also notice similarities between the protagonist of said series, Shiki Tohno (Nanaya for those who like to call by true name), and BlazBlue, Ragna the Blood Edge. (As well as a few other characters)
** Ragna lived a normal life until a fatal incident occurred involving his brother, Jin, who got help from Terumi in burning a church and abducting Saya, the sister. Shiki lived a normal life until a fatal incident involving his 'adopted brother', SHIKI, who's demon blood went out of control and attacked Akiha, the 'adopted sister'. (Despite the differences between the success of the said acts, our hero still falls victim to near death)
** After huge time skips where the hero does whatever he does best for a span of time and the story 'starts', they come in the situation that causes them to become friends/servants to a vampire (Though Rachael is the reason Ragna has the bicolored eyes and enhanced strength, Shiki and Arcueid have no relationships prior to the start of Tsukihime).
*** Both previously mentioned vampires are older than they are letting on and despise their nature as vampires (Rachael hates tomato juice and we can often times see Arc eating food that people normally eat, Mc. Donald's burger and fries included included).
** The power the hero's obtain have devastating side effects if over used (though it is true with almost the entire cast of BlazBlue)
** After so many years, our heroes meet their now insane brothers who's lack of emotional support makes them go blood thirsty for the brother's death, with the influence of a big bad (Terumi not so much as big bad as he is a dragon, Roa on the other hand).
*** Both of the mentioned villains are associated with snakes, Hazama/Terumi Yuuki's Nox Nyctores, Oruboros, is literally a chain in the appearance of a snake, Roa is often called "The Serpent of Akasha", and reincarnates his body into new 'skins' after "shedding" out of his previously dead host.
*** Also interesting to note that both villians have an odd resemblance to Michael Jackson (This troper not sure whether Roa's full name "Michael" Roa Valdamjong is a coincidence or trying to support the shout out), Hazama's characteristics seem to reflect Smooth Criminal (his fighting style reflects nicely), likewise, Roa with Thriller (He raises the dead).
*** They even have an interesting history with the vampire of the corresponding series
** Both Ragna and Shiki have been called 'Grim Reaper'
** Ragna's long lost sister Saya turns out to be The Imperator of the Novus Orbis Librarium, Shiki's long lost 'adopted' sister is the Tohno house heir, thus both sisters live among the aristocracy.
** Both Ragna and Shiki's parents are killed
** Both Ragna and Shiki gain harems of beautiful women (YMMV)
*** Arakune and the infestation of bugs can be compared to Nrvnqsr (Nero) Chaos and his chaos of 666 black beasts.
