** In "And Not-So-Sweet Charity", Caroline's eponymous aunt stops the check they had gotten her to sign while she was anesthetized after a face peel. Luckily, it turns out that [[spoiler: Caroline just had an allergic reaction to a cheap detergent she used]], however, the episode's message still stands that [[AnAesop you really shouldn't sleep around]]. Caroline also brings up how Max sleeps around more than her and advises Max to get tested; [[spoiler: she turns out to be clean as well, but a later episode implies she got chlamydia once]].

''2 Broke Girls'' was a SitCom that aired on Creator/{{CBS}}. The story follows [[DeadpanSnarker Max Black]] (Creator/KatDennings), a waitress at a local diner, and her new co-worker [[RichesToRags Caroline Channing]] (Creator/BethBehrs), the daughter of a wealthy man whose bank accounts were frozen after he was found guilty of enacting a {{Ponzi}} scheme. With no money to her name, Caroline has left her usual neighborhood in search of work, which is how she ended up working at the diner with Max.

Created by Michael Patrick King and Whitney Cummings ([[Series/{{Whitney}} one of two series she launched that season]]), the show premiered on CBS on September 19, 2011. It ran for six seasons until a contract/payment dispute between CBS (where it aired) and Warner Bros. (where it was produced) led to its cancellation on April 17, 2017.
