* ShoutOut: The logo for the organization shown in both the trailer and the poster above resembles the All Seeing Eye (from the pyramid on the back of the one dollar bill).

** In the second trailer, one character's shirt reads "CANADA: Living the American Dream without the violence since 1867".

* BenevolentConspiracy: The trailer posits that the Pentaverate is this, having deduced that the Black Plague was caused by fleas and being branded as heretics for their theories. Following this, the organization’s stated mission was to secretly influence the world for the better.

* BitingTheHandHumor: Two episodes have the CEO of Netflix interrupting the show to demonstrate ways to attempt make the show more family friendly which either backfire or make it seem dirtier.
