''The Chair'' is an American comedy-drama MiniSeries starring Creator/SandraOh as Professor Ji-yoon Kim, the first woman to become English department chair at her New England university. She must then navigate the staid old boy's club of academia, wrangle her friends and colleagues, and balance her work, family, and love lives.

Supporting actors include Creator/JayDuplass, Creator/NanaMensah, Creator/HollandTaylor, and Creator/BobBalaban as Ji-yoon's colleagues.

The show was released on Creator/{{Netflix}} on August 20, 2021. It was cancelled after one season.
