*Foreshadowing: In 'There Goes the Bride', Raven puts on a wedding dress and kisses Devon at the altar. They are not getting married in this episode, but guess who is reveal to be Raven's ex in Raven's home. They must have had that scene as adults at some point.

In 2007, the series received a short-lived spinoff called ''Series/CoryInTheHouse''. It starred Raven's brother, Cory, living in the White House.

* {{Flanderization}}: Chelsea's slight ditziness in Season 1 later becomes extreme idiocy by the end of Season 2.
** In early episodes, she was even smarter (or at least more sensible) than Raven by being the voice of reason. By the third season, they way Anneliese van der Pol delivered her lines as Chelsea was slower and even sounded dumber.

* AbortedArc: One episode had a girl on the school newspaper coming very close to discovering Raven's secret (and exposing it to the school). She's foiled in the end, but remains suspicious that Raven is hiding something, and vows to discover what it is. Though this hints that she'll be a recurring antagonist, the character is never seen again.

** The fact that one episode("When There's Smoke) directly deals with smoking(a rather taboo subject for a kids show) is quite surprising, especially considering that when ''SisterSister'' aired on Disney Channel, the scene where Tia and Tamara get caught smoking in one episode was removed.

It became the first Disney show to buck the 65-episode trend, the first to run four seasons, and the first to reach 100 episodes.

The main premise of the show happens when Booker's revealed to have [[ItRunsInTheFamily inherited Raven's psychic abilities.]]
