** Arguably every main character actually suffered from this trope. As the seasons progressed, Raven went from being self-aware and charismatic to pompous and loud, Cory went from being a scheming younger brother with a lot of money on hand to a greedy and gullible {{Jerkass}} willing to do anything for a quick buck, Eddie went from being like an older brother to Cory to ''becoming'' an older version of him, while Tanya went from being an authoritative parent to a downright strict one, as did Victor after she was put PutOnABus.

* ImColdSoCold: In "Soup to Nuts", Raven does this while faking an illness to avoid going to school. This is brought back up later, when Raven finds out that she missed a Senior Surprise Day trip to a water park due to her "illness".
-->'''Raven:''' Senior Surprise Day? And I missed it?!
-->'''Cory:''' Yeah, because you were "so cold, so cold".
-->'''Raven:''' You keep going, you're gonna be ''out cold'' in a second.

* Foreshadowing: In 'There Goes the Bride', Raven puts on a wedding dress and kisses Devon at the altar. They are not getting married in this episode, but guess who is reveal to be Raven's ex in Raven's home. They must have had that scene as adults at some point.

** Tanya, the mother who was one of the important supporting characters, suddenly without warning apparently went to England to become a lawyer. She's never seen or heard from again. This was due to the actor who played her not seeing eye to eye with the director and writing staff and left partway through the third season. Who knows if she even knows that her husband became first chef for the president.

* OnlySaneMan: Chelsea of all people plays this role in "Food for Thought"--she's the only person who realizes that a constant diet of junk food will have terrible effects on the body and mind. Nobody pays attention to her...at least until Raven has a vision of everyone at the school developing "a lotta junk in the trunk."

It does make sense, however, when you remember that she's a GranolaGirl. Nobody pays attention to her...at least until Raven has a vision of everyone at the school developing "a lotta junk in the trunk."

** In early episodes, she was even smarter (or at least more sensible) than Raven by being the voice of reason. By the third season, they way Anneliese van der Pol delivered her lines as Chelsea was slower and even sounded dumber.

* AbortedArc: One episode had a girl on the school newspaper coming very close to discovering Raven's secret (and exposing it to the school). She's foiled in the end, but remains suspicious that Raven is hiding something, and vows to discover what it is. Though this hints that she'll be a recurring antagonist, the character is never seen again.
