''Prince of Lan Ling'' (兰陵王, ''Lán Líng Wáng'') is a 2013 Chinese series starring Feng Shao Feng, Ariel Lin, and Daniel Chan. It's very loosely based on a true story.

During the Northern Qi Dynasty a prophecy foretells that victory would go to the one who has the priestess's blessing. Yang Xue Wu, the last priestess of her clan, unwittingly becomes embroiled in a war between Northern Qi and Northern Zhou. Although she foresees a tragic fate for Gao Chang Gong, the Prince of Lan Ling and a general of Northern Qi, she falls in love with him and helps him win the war against Yuwen Yong, the Emperor of Northern Zhou.

* VeryLooselyBasedOnATrueStory: Gao Chang Gong existed and he really did win battles against Northern Zhou, but it's safe to say there were no priestesses or prophecies involved in his victory.
* WorthyOpponent: Yuwen Yong sees Gao Chang Gong as this.
