'''''Jyuden Sentai Kyoryuger''''' (Electrobeast Squadron Dinosaurangers) is the [=37th=] program in the SuperSentai franchise, scheduled to air from 2013 to 2014. It is the third dinosaur-themed installment in the franchise, following ''KyoryuSentaiZyuranger'' (1992) and ''BakuryuSentaiAbaranger'' (2003) and is notable for featuring the first team in nearly three decades since ''DengekiSentaiChangeman'' (1985) without a yellow ranger. It is also the first sentai since ''HyakujuuSentaiGaoranger'' to start out with four male rangers and one female ranger.

A long time ago, in the age of the dinosaurs, the earth was under attack by alien forces. The only people capable of the stopping them was a team known as the Kyōki Ryū no Sha, the People of the Strong Dragons, better known as Kyoryuger.

...Of course, in this case the term "people" may be a bit misleading, considering they were actually dinosaurs and other prehistoric reptiles, granted supernatural powers by the bird god Torin (yes, they had a bird god before birds ought to have existed. When the age of the dinosaurs came to an end, Torin sealed his champions' souls inside special capsules so that they would still be there to help the next generation of heroes if the aliens ever returned. Now, in the modern world, they have and five young people have been chosen to use the powers of these "Beast Batteries" to fight off this revived threat.
