Trope was cut/disambiguated due to cleanup; needs a better excerpt to show if it's Arson Murder And Admiration or Arson Murder And Lifesaving

* TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers: Ji-soo's homeroom teacher begins scolding him like this... just to end it with praise.
-->'''Ji-soo's teacher:''' I put [you and Gyu-ri] together to work on club matters. And you were too busy dating and bombed your midterms! [...] If that's why you bombed your exams, that's very... commendable. If it had been for another reason, I would've killed you.

"Hates and despises" is redundant

Ji-soo's illegal income ties back to his school life in a couple of ways. Min-hee, one of his classmates, is also one of his prostitutes. She's underage, like several others in Ji-soo's stable of hookers. Min-hee is having PTSD panic attacks after a terrifying incident where she was bound and gagged and nearly murdered by a client. Then there's Gyu-ri, another classmate, and Ji-soo's crush. Gyu-ri is not a hooker, being a child of wealth and privilege, but she hates and despises her controlling parents. When she finds out about Ji-soo's criminal activities, she demands to be included. The story follows these teenagers who commit crimes to earn money and the unpredictable dangers they face because of their actions and choices.

* BuxomIsBetter: Ki-tae is a bully and generally an awful, horrible person, but he can be disarmingly honest sometimes, like when he tells Min-hee that he's dating her because he likes her large breasts. ([[GoldDigger The other reason is that she spends a lot of money on him]], which he also admits.)

Up To Eleven is a defunct trope

* BoyfriendBluff: To make Ki-tae back off and stop bothering Ji-soo, Gyu-ri tells him that they are dating and calls him her boyfriend much to everyone's (and Ji-soo's) shock. Goes UpToEleven when she makes up a random anniversary date (22 days) and talks about Ji-soo like she has known him for a long time in front of Min-hee.

* TechnologicallyBlindElders: Whang-chul starts the series with a flip phone--a cracked one, no less. Ji-soo later makes him get a more modern phone and then an [=iPad=], for the latter he includes an entire instructional manual.
