*** ''[[VideoGame/SpyroYearOfTheDragon Year of the Dragon]]'': [[BigBad The Sorceress]] is the cruel ruler of the Forgotten Worlds. Manipulating her apprentice [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone Bianca]] into abducting 150 dragon eggs under the guise of restoring magic to her kingdom, the Sorceress quickly reveals the true depths of her [[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist selfishness and hypocrisy]]. Completely uncaring of the lives of her men, the Sorceress transforms her own minions into freakish monsters to fight Spyro, and ultimately plans to create a monster to wipe out every dragon, [[WouldHurtAChild even the hatchlings]], all so she can collect their wings for a spell that will give her eternal youth. She nonchalantly states that she doesn't even have to kill them; she just doesn't want them wriggling around while she removes their wings. A genocidal tyrant who [[ItsAllAboutMe only cares about herself]], the Sorceress stands out as the darkest and purest villain in the original Spyro trilogy.
*** ''[[VideoGame/SpyroShadowLegacy Shadow Legacy]]'': [[BigBad The Sorcerer]] is a purple dragon who believes that he is a "true dragon", claiming that [[FantasticRacism the other dragons are not true dragons]]. Prior to the events of the game, the Sorcerer [[TheCorrupter corrupts Red with his magic]], and orders him to place life draining Dark Gems across the realms to poison the life of the world. After Red's defeat, the Sorcerer creates 3 Shadow Amplifier Machines to pull everyone, [[WouldHurtAChild including children]], to the shadow realm so he can drain them of their magic, which involves torturing and killing them. When Bianca tries to stop him, the Sorcerer easily defeats her and orders Red to use her as bait for Spyro so he can kill him. When Spyro finally confronts the Sorcerer, he [[WeCanRuleTogether offers to make Spyro his apprentice]], only for him to reject him anyways, deeming him too small and weak, before attempting to kill him for interfering his plans. Banished by the Dragon Elders after [[FallenHero succumbing to his own ambition and megalomania]], Malefor formulated a new army and waged war against his own kind before being sealed away. To stop the prophecy of the purple dragon, Malefor had his ape servants raid the dragon temple and smash all of the eggs within. ** ''VideoGame/{{Skylanders}}'': [[TheManBehindTheMan The Darkness]] is the source of all evil in the franchise, with the ultimate goal of the total destruction of Skylands followed by domination of the universe. Having terrorized Skylands in the past before being driven off, The Darkness continued to influence and corrupt many evil beings over time. [[ItCanThink Revealing its intelligence]] in ''Superchargers'', The Darkness happily aids [[Characters/SkylandersKaos Kaos]] in powering the Sky-Eater before hijacking the scheme and persuading Kaos to destroy Skylands instead, eventually threatening him when [[EvenEvilHasStandards he shows reluctance]]. The Darkness's other, more personal crimes include wiping out Voodood's tribe, destroying Boom Jet's home village, and nearly corrupting Spyro into Dark Spyro. Fully comprehending morality and choosing to embrace evil, The Darkness proves to be a [[VileVillainSaccharineShow dark villain in an otherwise lighthearted setting]].

** [[TheMole Lapino]] is a petty turncoat working for TheEmpire. [[DrivenByEnvy Envious]] of hero Reynardo's fame and riches, Lapino did whatever he could to hinder the rebel's plans. He frequently leaked information that resulted in ships being attacked and missions failing where he was the only survivor; he also aided the empire by having villages and towns sacked and posing as a victim who narrowly survived. Should Reynardo aid Lapino during his journey, Lapino will continue posing as his friend while secretly leaking crucial information to the empire, which will result in the rebel base being attacked, several neutral scientists being murdered, the Empire acquiring the [[{{Superweapon}} Skyripper Core]], and [[AntiVillain Zenobia]] potentially dying; all of it culminates in Lapino personally murdering Reynardo. In the canon ending, Lapino steals the Skyripper Core and secretly delivers it to the Emperor before he later steals the Iblis Stone in hopes of gaining ultimate power.
** [[ArtifactOfDoom The Iblis Stone]] is a rock [[SealedEvilInACan secretly housing the demonic entity Iblis]]. A stone that feeds on pain and death, the Iblis Stone [[TheCorrupter corrupts]] anyone who uses it by whispering promises of fortune and fame at the expense of its user killing their loved ones and companions. Should Reynardo acquire the stone, it'll tempt him into killing his former lover Zenobia; if he goes through with it, Reynardo will slowly become a merciless killer who slaughters dozens in his path, eventually sucking out the soul of the Emperor and unleashing Iblis, thus [[TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt ending the universe]]. Should Lapino or Zenobia acquire the stone, both of them will ultimately give in to madness and kill Reynardo when he tries to talk them into giving up the stone. In the canon ending, Zenobia steals the stone from Lapino, only to later slaughter the rebel council after falling victim to its murderous influence.
