''You Didn't Ask for This'', or YDAFT (yuh-daft/[[ViewerPronunciationConfusion why-daft/Y-D-A-F-T/ee-daft]]) for short, is a ''Franchise/TouhouProject'' webcomic made by Reddit user [=BlackDragonTribe=] in the Walfas engine, published on r/touhou. The main comic covered the various mishaps and misadventures of the girls of an alternate Gensokyo. [[CerebusSyndrome As a plot developed]], the original comic would eventually come to an end, replaced by a new series called YDAFT [Gensokyo Days] with a greater emphasis on confining itself to silly side happenings and short inconsequential arcs, as well as Gensokyo Late-Night for comics based on requests submitted by fans.
YDAFT also has its own subreddit, which features archives of the original and [GD] as well as several spinoffs, such as the now-concluded [Backstage] where BDT and other users' original characters could come together, the New World to replace it, and other people's comics, listed below.

* AdaptationalWimp: Cooler Dan is a KnightOfCerebus in DWC, but is reduced to an IronButtMonkey in OWW.

** Both versions of Cirno in the comic are ''leagues'' beyond what canon Cirno is capable of, with Strongest Cirno (orange scarf) being able to reduce temperatures so far they reach negative Kelvin and start heating back up, and Ice Queen Cirno (red scarf) being the embodiment of the cold and frost taking a fairy-like form for her own reasons.
** Remilia's fate manipulation is a canonically dubious power, suggested by Flandre to be made up with no evidence to prove her wrong. In [=KiriComics=], it is 100% legit, and she even had a magic pendant created to ensure she doesn't misuse or abuse it.
