Compare and contrast AnythingThatMoves, where a character typically limits themselves to those within their own species, age, and/or sexual preferences. The complete opposite is a Asexual and a CelibateHero (if asexual is TheHero). See also ReallyGetsAround for the usually-straight version. Compare ExtremeOmnivore (the dietary counterpart).

Draft for ExtremeOmnisexual's description, since AnythingThatMoves was merged with that trope. Both tropes' descriptions have been copied verbatim for now.

->Howard: Jack just ate a happy ending!\\
Kreese: Don't you mean Happy Onion?\\
Howard: Clearly you've never had sex with an onion!
-->-- VideoGame/MadWorld

This is a character who would, could, or has bedded anything. By "anything" we mean absolutely anything, up to and including the bed itself.

The Extreme Omnisexual isn't necessarily limited to chasing after humans or humanoids; targets of their affections can also include other species, Robosexual robots, or even animals and inanimate objects.

This person is often a LovableSexManiac, a depraved villain or is just really, really desperate.

!AnythingThatMoves' description:
->"I'll fuck anything that moves!"
-->-- Frank, Film/BlueVelvet

Some people have a type. They might like certain hair colour, or body type, or personality trait.

WellThisIsNotThatTrope.

This character has remarkably broad standards. They may have species and gender boundaries, but that's about it. Things like age, personality, and attractiveness restrict them much less than the average person. Such a character may get around a lot, but not necessarily; sometimes, it's just that their standards are broad.

This is not to say they have no limits. Animals, aliens, children, relatives, and/or inanimate objects (barring sex toys) are off the table. (If not, you're looking at ExtremeOmnisexual.)

Note: Do not add behavior patterns that don't fall under RuleOfFunny. Do not add characters for chasing after aliens or fantastic beings. Don't add characters who don't otherwise fit for just using the phrase "Anything That Moves." Anything That Moves is just a title.

Not to be confused with ShootEverythingThatMoves -- though with ILoveTheDead some people, you never know. The male version is almost always a KavorkaMan or CasanovaWannabe; the female version formidable enough to be off-putting to the less experienced members of the cast, except in anime. Then she's a LovableSexManiac.

ExtremeOmnisexual is a similar trope, but they are distinct since the former revolves around whose tastes would include those outside their own species and[=/=]or sexual orientation (and, for that matter, don't necessarily have to be moving).

Has nothing to do with a quoteRevolversAreJustBetter “Six Bullets, more than enough to kill anything that moves.“ is the quote, in case you were wondering. from Revolver Ocelot. The 1990s magazine Anything That Moves was related, as it was a political journal about bisexuality, but the name was chosen sarcastically.With the subtitle, which varied over time, the full title was usually some variation on the phrase, Anything That Moves Us Past the Stereotypes About Bisexuality - in other words, it is a TakeThat on the idea that all bisexuals are oversexed.
