*Being the macho-loving badass he is, he naturally wants to join [[Pantheon/CulturalValues The Broforce]] so he can blow up evil to his hearts content. While they're a bit iffy about his intelligence, they are considering it. It's not like they care about collateral damage anyways.
*Believe it or not, he's actually a big fan of tabletop games, particularly games like ''Bunkers And Badasses'', and is completely fine about admitting it as well. Just don't expect the quests he gives out to be particularly sane (NEXT QUEST: [[BeyondTheImpossible BLOWING UP THE OCEAN]])).
**Speaking of which, the one time he met [[Pantheon/CritiqueAndParody Megumin]] and saw her EXPLOSION spell, he instantly befriended the little witch on the spot, calling the spell, "THE MOST MOTHERF**KING BEUTIFUL THING I'VE EVER SEEN!!"
*If there's one thing he hates, its cheating. The one time someone cheated in his competition, he openly encouraged the vault hunter to kill the sunuvabitch. He also isn't fond of cowards, and isn't afraid to let it be known. That being said, his ideas of rules are... a bit loose ([[ItMakesSenseInContext He was completely fine with a Giant Robot T-Rex, for starters]]), so you've really have to try to get noticed.
**One of those people is [[Pantheon/{{Nationalities}} Aran Ryan]], who is notorious for basically treating playing dirty like breathing. He's a bit hesitant to act since Ryan's good friends with Tina, but Mr.Torgue's always willing to give him an earful.
***Another one is, surprisingly, criticism. Or, at least, critics who trash his favorite games. [[Pantheon/HardwareAndSoftWare The Angry Videogame Nerd]] in particular always seems to hate the games Torgue likes, to the latter's frustration. The Nerd himself is rather neutral towards him, regarding him as "Just another dumbass who barges in my room and fucks shit up, only this time, he makes bleeping noises constantly".
