* In its decade of stories, ''[[ComicBook/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtlesIDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles]]'' has built up an extremely formidable gallery of rogues for the turtles' to clash against. Many of these villains appear at least twice with a number going on to having their own dedicated arcs and even mini-series dedicated to them. Heck, some even get their ''own'' rogues gallery!
** Of the core villains, there are [[ArchEnemy The Shredder]], [[AntiVillain Krang]], [[MadScientist Baxter Stockman]], and [[TheTrickster Rat King]]. Arguably [[TragicBigot Agent Bishop]], [[TragicMonster Leatherhead]], [[CorruptCorporateExecutive Madame Null]] and [[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist Old Hob]] fill this role as well, but to lesser extents.
** In addition to the big bads, the turtles have also had plenty of adventures facing off against villains of a smaller scope, but in many cases are no less as deadly. These enemies include [[DarkActionGirl Karai]], [[AbusiveParents Hun]], Natsu, Zodi, [[ThoseTwoGuys Bebop and Rocksteady]], [[LikableVillain Atilla the Frog]], [[KillerRobot Metalhead]], [[TokenGoodTeammate Bludgeon]], Koya, Ocho, [[MakerOfMonsters Dr. Barlow]] and [[TheIgor D.B.]], [ReligionOfEvil Bloch]], [CorruptCorporateExecutive Darius Dun]], [[McNinja Victor]], Queen Maligna, Puggle, Bandit, [[AllDrummersAreAnimals Diamond]], [[OctopoidAliens Hakk-R]], [[ContinuityPorn Savanti Romero]], Queen Maligna, Zog, Night and Stone.
** Of course, the Turtles haven't just faced individuals. The four brothers and many of their friends have faced off against entire teams, organizations, and even entire civilizations, such as the [[TheClan Foot Clan]] and its many sub-organizations, [[ResearchInc T.C.R.I. Corporation]], [[AbsoluteXenophobia Earth Protection Force]], [[HiredGuns Darkwater]], the Stone Soldiers, the Malignoid Swarm, [[GangOfHats Punk Frogs]], [[GalacticSuperpower Utrom Empire]], the [[LivingDinosaurs Triceratons]], -StockGen-, [[WellIntentionedExtremists Mighty Mutanimals]], [[InvisibleStreaker Street Phantoms]], and more.

** Several characters and teams in the series also have their own micro-rogue galleries. Each of the turtles have one or two villains who are (or were) out for them specifically. Leonardo has Koya, Karai and "Dark Leo", whose more of his darker subconscious, but they've still fought a few times. Raphael has Alopex, Zodi, and a more personal hatred for the EPF. Michelangelo is associated with Wyrm, Kara Lewis, and in the later stories, [[spoiler:Master Splinter]]. Donatello arguably has the largest of these, with Bebop and Rocksteady, Metalhead, Colonel Ch'rell, and Shredder all attempted to gun him down. For their allies, Angel and Casey have beef against Hun and have butted heads against many gangs such as the Purple Dragons and the Garden State Wreckers. The Mutanimals themselves have confronted a handful of enemies unique to them, such as the Gang of Four and currently [[spoiler:the group is split apart in a war against themselves, with Man Ray, Herman, and Old Hob as the bad guys.]]
** As mentioned before, a number of the rogues have their own rogues! Most notably of this bunch are Bebop and Rocksteady, whose antics got them tangled in all sorts of sticky situations, causing them to go up against the Ghost Boys (lead by Xiang Fei Tong), The Olympian and Bopsteady.

** In addition to the big bads, the turtles have also had plenty of adventures facing off against villains of a smaller scope, but in many cases are no less as deadly. These enemies include [[DarkActionGirl Karai]], [[AbusiveParents Hun]], Natsu, Zodi, [[ThoseTwoGuys Bebop and Rocksteady]], [[LikableVillain Atilla the Frog]], [[KillerRobot Metalhead]], [[TokenGoodTeammate Bludgeon]], Koya, Ocho, Dr. Barlow and D.B., Bloch, Darius Dun, Victor, Queen Maligna, Puggle, Bandit, Diamond, Hakk-R, Savanti Romero, Queen Maligna, Zog, Night and Stone.

* [[MirrorCharacter Mirror Character]]: Lindsey Baker is this for April O'Neil. Both are scientists who worked together at StockGen. Whereas April would go on to befriend and join the Ninja Turtles willingly, Linsey was forced into working for the Mutanimals, though did grow to care about them later. While April remained on good terms with Casey after they broke up, Linsey and her ex-girlfriend despise each other.

* [[FifthRanger Fifth Ranger]]: Honestly, many characters can be considered this for different reasons. Casey and April for being the turtles' first allies. Slash being another turtle mutant whom befriends the turtles. Alopex for being the first mutant who ever really becomes a member of the Splinter Clan outside of their original members. Jennika for becoming the fifth ninja turtle.

** April becomes this for Baxter Stockman's cabinet, though this is less for morality reasons and more to keep him in check. Whether or not it's working is up for the reader to decide.

* {{TokenGoodTeammate Token Good Teammate]]: With loyalty and family being both major recurring themes, good-hearted characters have sometimes been seen working for bad organizations.

* [[GoodAllAlong Good All Along]]: Early stories seem to imply that Lindsey and Chet are bad people, framing them in sinister ways. In actuality, Linsdey is a classic {{IceQueen}} with a big heart deep down and Chet would become one of the turtles' most reliable and enduring allies.

** [[spoiler:Herman becomes this for the Mighty Mutanimals after they fall apart. He's still loyal to Hobb, but clearly retained his love for others, which only makes his friends distrusting him all the more gut-wrenching.]]

** And lastly, it goes without saying that many former villains have reformed to the side of good and a few good guys went bad. For the former, Alopex, Jennika, Krisa, Slash and most recently [[spoiler:Kitsune and ''Shredder'']] all started off as recurring enemies before becoming allies to the Turtles. For the latter, Leonardo for a time and [[spoiler:Master Splinter fell to the dark side. He got better, though.]]
