* IncestIsRelative: Since there are only three queens in each Clan to be mothers, siblings end up being mates. This is (hopefully) unintentional. It's often {{Hand Wave}}d off as NotBloodSiblings: to avoid incest, one of the mated pair is usually said to be adopted. (Though, this just leads to more questions as to who their biological mother is then.)

* BiggerBad: The Father is this in one plot. Though not an active character, he provides the motives for the antagonists: Drift, Slyde, and Zoom.

* FollowTheLeader: After the creation of [[CuteMute Scarhealer]], a mute character who gained widespread recognition on the site due to her creator's well-known status, there was an enormous boom in the rate of mute, blind, or deaf characters.

* LoveDodecahedron: Otherwise known as mate drama, and so common on the site to the point that it's the bane of many of the roleplayers' existence, prime material for [[SnarkBait snarking at]], [[BerserkButton ranting about]], and [[PassThePopcorn being entertained by]], and carried out by tons of people with their characters anyway.

* [[ChocolateBaby Chocolate Kit]]: Since kits are divided among the three queens as their offspring in their Clan unless they get permission for otherwise, it often results in kits looking nothing like their mothers.
* ClingyJealousGirl[=/=]CrazyJealousGuy: A ''lot'' of mates act really possessive towards each other, providing mate drama.

* DeadpanSnarker: Most of the staffers.
