->[[AGodAmI "May I remind you that I am not a person?... I am a god!"]] - Albert Wesker

This is a rather trope-heavy AlternateUniverse ResidentEvil [[http://resident-evil-roleplaying.tumblr.com RP group found on Tumblr.]] The basic plotline is as follows: Wesker's back from the dead, along with Umbrella and the Wolfpack. The BSAA ends up getting sent in to deal with the threat. Then things go to hell from there. It should be noted that this page may be undergoing a name change. The roleplay fractured off, with certain people leaving to form their own group. The majority of the characters have stayed with this group. The reason had to do with a spoiler in Revelations being posted on the dashboard by a few of the roleplayers, when most of the others either knew and were keeping their mouths shut, or didn't know at all and were avoiding as many spoilers as possible.

It starts out where Vector was given an assignment by Wesker to retrieve a sample of a virus. Meanwhile, Parker was given an assignment by the BSAA to figure out what the hell is going on and report back to HQ. Things go downhill from there. Parker gets captured by Lupo and becomes their prisoner. Meanwhile, Sheva just came back from visiting Africa. She had gone home to investigate some issues in her past, where she found out that she was infected with an unusual virus as a young child. She gets sent to figure out why Parker disappeared. Vector proceeded to go MIA for a long stretch of time.

Lupo gave Parker the key to his cell and he escaped. HUNK then gets sent in to deal with him, Lupo tagging along. Eventually, they catch up to Sheva and Parker. They get captured and sent to the prison cells again. Parker had gotten shot, so he spent his time healing in his cell. Meanwhile, HUNK ends up taking Sheva with him on a mission. As it turns out, it was due to her clearance in the BSAA, since he needed to retrieve a viral sample. Things go to hell on the mission and he has to let her go and use weaponry to fight the various BOWs hidden in the facility. They survive, with the viral sample intact, but Sheva was severely injured. Wesker finds out about Lupo helping Parker escape and proceeds to guilt trip her about the matter.

Meanwhile, Josh shows up to break Parker out. Wesker, who was watching the security cameras, shows up to try to kill them. They escape from him and hide in the library in the facility, where Four Eyes tells them to get out of there, mostly due to how she's unarmed and Josh is ready to kill her. They leave the facility and Parker insists they head back, because of what Wesker would do to both Four Eyes and Lupo for helping them. They end up splitting up and Parker encounters Wesker. Eventually, he ends up joining Wesker, because Wesker had just attacked the BSAA Headquarters and was planning on going back and they cut a deal: His service for their safety, as long as they don't attack Wesker.

Sheva gets brought back to Wesker's headquarters, where she is patched up. She remains a prisoner. Jill, who's being controlled by Wesker again, finds out that Wesker and Sheva were doing the horizontal tango and they get into a fight over the matter. Eventually, Sheva agrees to a deal with Wesker to lose her memories.

And this is just the first week in the in-story timeline.

[[folder: The rest of the story's summary (Work in Progress)]]
[[spoiler: A note from {{Tropers/Noir-Okami}}: If any of the roleplayers disagree with this timeline, if I miss anything, or any of the details are wrong, please address me on Tumblr. I do not have a photographic memory and I wish to keep which roleplayer I am hidden, because I would like to see you figure it out on your own using small clues. I promise to come clean around the time Revelations or Operation: Raccoon City comes out. I don't know who USS Anonymous or La Madamoiselle Rouge, so I cannot speak for either of them. Also, I may randomly ask questions from the group about the timeline and details. Don't worry, I'm actually the one asking it if I sign it Noir-Okami.]] It should also be noted that this summary does not include the flashbacks that take place in the timeline before the main story.

Afterward, Sheva ends up implanted with false memories, thinking that she is sort of the protege of Wesker and she ends up with a [[AGodAmI God complex]] to rival Wesker's. This, naturally, dumbfounds Parker, because of how OutOfCharacter it is. As it turns out, Wesker has an odd trait to his infection. Occasionally, he turns into a small child (this trait of his virus is not used anymore, due to obvious reasons). As a child, he's mentally at age 10, but still rather bright, referred to as Albert, and ''not'' pure evil. Jill ends up being his sort of caretaker when he is stuck as Albert.

Jill ends up being given orders by Wesker to give Albert an injection of a green chemical. She does and he eventually ends up feverish and passing out. It appears as though "Albert" had won in a sort of BattleInTheCenterOfTheMind. That was really just Wesker using it as a ploy. Parker ends up stealing a sample of the green chemical that Jill got and giving it to Four Eyes, so she could study it. Four Eyes then ends up having to go on the run in order to avoid being killed by Wesker, lying low in a nearby city with her friend Miranda. Wesker ends up causing problems, including releasing a horde of Lickers and a Tyrant. (He also burns the file Four Eyes gave Parker about the composition of the chemical. In the chaos, Parker ended up leaving it in the medical storeroom, so he could help Jill.) In the fighting, Jill gets injured. She treats her wounds and goes to rest. She ends up needing to go to the hospital. At the hospital, Sheva and Jill end up making up for what happened involving Wesker and Sheva sleeping together.

HUNK gets back from a mission and wishes to know what is going on. Him, Lupo, and Sherry Birkin end up on the ship, searching for Excella Gionne, in order to steal a viral sample from her. Eventually, RPD (going by 3586, commonly mistyped as 3568) and Krauser get sent up as HUNK's back-up and Parker is sent in as Lupo and Sherry's backup. Lupo and Sherry, meanwhile, had to head back to the facility due to orders. After a lot of running around and trying to meet up, HUNK, RPD, and Parker end up crashing the meeting and trying to grab the virus. Things go to hell afterwards as HUNK gets shot and parts of the tanker start blowing up. They barely escape, due to RPD's wall crawling ability and Krauser snagging a helicopter.

HUNK ends up in the hospital for a while, along with RPD. Parker ends up giving HUNK some sunflowers. HUNK ends up sending off Parker to find RPD, who is also recuperating [[spoiler: but he has a mind control device fitted on him]]. They end up coming back and RPD [[NotHimself is acting unusually formal]], which both Parker and HUNK take to be a bad sign. They end up getting into a fight with him, it reopening HUNK's wounds. Then they end up [[spoiler: shorting out the device, which results in RPD losing his memory. They tie him up and eventually reconnect the device, so RPD ends up back to normal.]] HUNK proceeds to get his stitches back into place. RPD ends up going off, after shooting HUNK's flowers [[hottip:*: RPD still owes him new ones.]], in order to find out more about his infection. He ends up uncovering more than he bargained for, because [[spoiler: Umbrella is trying to mass produce mind control devices to fit on BOWs.]] HUNK then informs RPD to go find Four Eyes, because she can help him [[spoiler: deal with his mutation.]]

Sherry and Lupo end up going to the store, meanwhile, and they end up meeting Claire. During an altercation, Sherry ends up being shot and both Lupo and Claire end up taking her to the hospital. Sherry ends up suffering from some {{hallucinations}} due to PTSD. It is then revealed that [[spoiler: Sherry requires constant injections of a chemical Wesker has in his possession in order for her body to heal normally, when Wesker shows up.]] After a while, Spectre ends up taking Sherry back to the facility and they [[CrackShip end up falling in love and start dating]].

Rebecca ends up getting a P-30 control device placed on her by Wesker, one that is not yet activated. She ends up dragging Parker with her in order to get the device removed. He ends up ditching her and she tries removing the device again. The device ends up activated again. Sherry and Claire then try saving her and remove the device. This doesn't work and she ends up left behind. Beltway ends up rescuing her.

Parker ends up leaving Wesker for a time, due to Sheva and Josh kidnapping him and taking him with them. Sheva and Parker end up trying to find information on how to [[spoiler: kill Wesker. They end up interacting with the Red Queen, who does not allow Sheva to proceed, due to her infection. Parker ends up finding a sample of a cure for Sheva and takes it with him. Even though she gets injected, she gets killed (and later revived) by the Red Queen. Parker then takes a sample of PG67A/W and heads out. He ends up infecting himself with it, worried that Wesker will show up out of nowhere like usual and the subsequent fight would result in it being lost. [[hottip:*: It is due to the fact that there's only 2.5 milliliters in the PG67A/W syringes and Parker thinking that Sheva was dead.]]]]

Four Eyes, meanwhile, ends up heading back to the city, thinking that everything has calmed down somewhat. After the Tanker incident, RPD ends up running into Four Eyes and asks her about his mutation. He's then given orders to ''not'' drink for a while, to see if the aggression he's recently been experiencing is due to the drinking or due to the virus. He ends up doing so, which [[{{Understatement}} does not help with his temper very much]]. As it turns out, when he gets injured and needs to heal, the virus slowly starts taking over more.

Parker realizes just how screwed he is and ends up going back to work for Wesker. He ends up getting orders to kill three people and he does so, leaving behind a whole lot of evidence. Beltway goes off and ends up having to blow up the evidence room of the local police station, due to how much evidence Parker had left behind. He also ends up kidnapping a man in order for them to frame the man for it, by making him look like he committed suicide.

Alyssa ends up investigating the multiple murders. What makes her more suspicious is that, as she went to the police station to ask around about what had happened, the evidence room ends up blowing up. This just makes her much more suspicious of what was going on. She starts snooping around and gets intercepted by Sherry, who is going by the name "Lisa," and is given a bunch of information, most of it being bullshit. Alyssa notices a few inconsistencies in the information she was given and how quickly "Lisa" stopped their meeting as soon as she got to what one of her witnesses was talking about. Alyssa figures out that [[SpotTheThread there are a lot of problems with "Lisa's" story]] and she eventually goes over to the facility, breaks in, and interviews RPD.

Joseph and Parker, then eventually Joseph and RPD end up having a chat at the facility. Somehow, none of the guards are alerted to Joseph's presence. Spectre, Beltway, and Rebecca end up going off to a bar to go drinking. There was a bomb placed in the bar. There ends up being very tense, because Beltway is sitting on the chair with the bomb, so he cannot get up to diffuse it. Rebecca ends up having to diffuse it with Beltway's instructions.

Sherry and Spectre end up going on a date. During the end of it, they spend their time by a pier and a group of about ten men show up. As it turns out, they're from a rival group of some sort. Three of the men end up raping Sherry. Spectre ends up going berserk and killing all the men. He takes her back to the facility, where Rebecca ends up treating her wounds. Wesker then gives Parker orders to investigate. He ends up talking to the BSAA about the matter and O'Brian even brings up that what had happened would be against the Geneva Convention, were the BSAA involved. [[hottip:*: Parker is under the impression that, though what had happened was heinous, it was entirely likely that it was spur of the moment by the group in question, not ordered.]]

Excella ends up getting involved in the story. As it turns out, she is pregnant with Wesker's child [[LawOfInverseFertility after they have a one-night stand.]] She, feeling spited due to how [[spoiler: Jill is now working for Wesker and keeps threatening her and her child's lives, ends up talking to first Jessica, then Sergei about trying to take Wesker down a peg or two. At one point, this leads to her and Sergei snarking about [[CrowningMomentOfFunny Wesker's penis size.]]]] Beltway, meanwhile, was captured and tortured for about a month. The people responsible knew about the Wolfpack and specifically had a grudge against them, no Umbrella. He ends up getting his wounds treated by Rebecca.

Chris ends up training Sherry some combat techniques. Sheva has [[spoiler: now been brought back to work for the BSAA,]] due to Keith. Alyssa and Forest [[spoiler: have broken into the facility and end up searching for evidence to take Umbrella down and get confronted by Sherry, who then runs off. They're currently facing a Tyrant that is a hybrid of Nemesis, Thanatos, and the original Arklay Mansion Tyrant. They both get away.]] Joseph, meanwhile, [[spoiler: is now reliant on the shots created from Sheva's blood Wesker provides in order for him to stay alive.]] Bertha has hired Rachel to find out whatever information she can on Leon. Leon gets captured and [[spoiler: tortured by an unspecified group and saved by Claire.]] After [[spoiler: Sherry's training session, Wesker finds out about her trying to help Alyssa and Forest by warning them away. He then proceeds to rape her. Excella finds out about this and begins to plot ways to murder Wesker.]]

Vector and Jill have [[spoiler: defected from Wesker's side and end up in Russia.]] HUNK and Parker, a week and a half after the tanker incident, are searching through a facility run by a rival company of Umbrella, called Theta-Med. Meanwhile Barry, Claire, and Leon have met up. Alyssa has given as much of the information as she can to the BSAA pertaining to [[spoiler: the Tyrant hybrid, Sherry intercepting her and trying to throw her off the trail of the story, Parker killing people, and meeting up with Sheva.]] Afterward, Jessica [[spoiler: heads down to investigate the Umbrella facility.]] Lupo [[spoiler: ends up fighting her and capturing her.]]

As it turns out [[spoiler: Excella, Sherry, Bertha, and Parker all discuss ways to kill Wesker. HUNK stays neutral because he frankly doesn't know what he should do.]] Jill is waiting for Ashley and Vector. [[spoiler: Forest ends up breaking Jessica out. After she gets treated at the hospital, they go back to his house and have sex.]] Later, [[spoiler: HUNK, Forest, RPD, Leon, Ada, and Jessica hear about the plan to kill Wesker. The plan Excella has involves altering the [[ContinuityNod stabilizer that Wesker requires for his infections]]. It is supposed to result in Wesker's internal organs all liquifying at once. As soon as that happens, he'll become a Level 4 biohazard as he dies, which is ''really, really bad.'' Parker thinks they should have a backup plan, which is why he's trying to get as many people on their side to help them, in case things go awry, but eventually changes things around a bit, acting a hell of a lot like [[{{Inception}} Ariadne,]] giving the layout of the facility to Forest and figuring out how long it takes for the shudders to close. Bertha decides that she's not going to take sides until there's a reasonable chance of victory.]]

Hunnigan, Rachel, Keith, HUNK, Excella, Forest, and Vector go out for a night on the town. Before things get too out of hand, HUNK escorts Excella home after they leave the waffle-house, and Quint picks up Keith at the bar after a while and brings him home. Vector ends up installing a stripper pole in Hunnigan's living room and she ends up doing various things for him. Rachel takes a cab home, but ends up on the fire escape of her apartment building, being sprayed by a neighbor. They wake up without much recollection of what happened. Forest wakes up in his own bed for once. After a while, Wesker decides to send RPD out on another mission.

RPD takes his mission and he ends up killing several mercenaries on his own. He then comes back, covered in blood, and gets his injection of stabilizer. Meanwhile, Wesker and Excella are starting to get along again. Jessica and Forest are fighting a horde of Lickers and zombies in Las Vegas. [[spoiler: The odd thing that is noted on is that the zombies reanimated much more quickly than usual.]] Sheva [[spoiler: ends up helping break Joseph (and his dog) out of the facility by going through a small window. And they note how stupid it is for Umbrella to have security that can be compromised so easily.]] Meanwhile, Billy ends up seriously injured and gets treated by Rebecca for it. Sergei and Sherry end up meeting, discussing [[spoiler: ways that they can kill Wesker.]]

Lupo and Leon end up getting into a fight and, in the process, Lupo [[spoiler: poisons Leon. Hunnigan then informs him that the only way to slow down the poison is to take certain types of chemicals, such as caffeine, antihistamines, energy drinks, etc. and running around, in order to keep his heart rate up. He quickly heads over to Claire's house after the matter.]] Hunnigan, when dealing with her personal life, bewails how [[spoiler: Jack Krauser is supposedly dead and she loved him.]] Bertha and Rachel both get irritated with her about how she's been handling it, acting like she's sixteen. HUNK and Hunnigan's cats have been "married" and Hunnigan gets newer kittens. RPD, after receiving his stabilizer, turns out to have been sedated by the person who gave him the serum. Parker finds him. After RPD wakes up, he nearly goes on a rampage, but Parker stops him.

* BeingEvilSucks
* BeingGoodSucks

** If one is not completely and unquestioningly loyal to Wesker...
** You do not constantly tease Chris about the notion that he's on steroids for too long...
** Parker does not take kindly to people killing civilians for fun.
** Do not harm Sherry. If Spectre finds out... Let's just leave it at dying quickly being a good thing.
** You do not threaten peoples' children in front of either Lupo or Excella. They will end you if they can.
* BewareTheHonestOnes: [[spoiler: Parker, Alyssa, and Sheva are wild cards.]]
* BewareTheNiceOnes
* BigBad: Wesker. Obviously.
* BigNo: HUNK once.
* BilingualBackfire: RPD knows Italian, so he understands what Parker says. This ends up a problem, because he understands what "ora" means. ("Now.") [[spoiler: HUNK and Parker were getting ready to rip the mind control device off of RPD.]]
* BilingualDialogue: Beltway lapses into Spanish, Four Eyes into Japanese, Lupo into French, Sergei into Russian, Bertha into German, and Parker and Excella both into Italian.
* BirdsOfAFeather: Spectre and Sherry, [[spoiler: Parker and Four Eyes]] (surprisingly)
* BiTheWay: Some of the characters. DependingOnTheWriter, the focus given to it and when it is focused on varies. To wit:
** [[VideoGame/ResidentEvilRevelations Jessica Sherawat]]- She strongly prefers women. It is mentioned multiple times in the main storyline.
** [[VideoGame/ResidentEvilRevelations Parker Luciani]]- It is rarely, if ever, brought up in the main story. [[LampshadeHanging (Jessica points out at one point that she finds it hard to believe that Parker is entirely straight.)]] It's more cannon fodder for jokes during in-character script chatting.
** [[ResidentEvil5 Sheva Alomar]]: Mentioned multiple times in the main story.
** [[ResidentEvil5 Chris Redfield]]
** [[ResidentEvil5 Albert Wesker]]
* BlindingBangs: Rachel
* BloodFromTheMouth: [[spoiler: RPD, after he gets beat up by Wesker.]]

* BreakTheCutie
* BrilliantButLazy: Vector is quite good at his job, but really, ''really'' likes just relaxing.
* BullyingADragon: Keith when he taunts Bertha.
* BunnyEarsLawyer: Beltway, Four Eyes, and Quint
* BurningBuildingRescue: Alexia rescues [[spoiler: Sheva, of all people,]] from a fire. Subverted, since [[spoiler: Alexia caused the fire in the first place.]]
* ButNotTooBi[=/=]ButNotTooGay: The bisexual characters tend to have fairly short lived same-sexed relations, while their long-term relations are normally heterosexual. The tone is often different as well, whereas the same-sex relations are along the lines of one-night stands, sometimes drunken, and tend to focus heavily on just the sexual aspect of the relationship. Even though there is a heavy emphasis on sexual relations with the straight characters, it is more romanticized in the story. The gay characters tend to have unrequited love situations, unable to act upon their intentions, due to things like IncompatibleOrientation. Tend to is the operative phrase, since there is Nicholai/Sergei and there was Chris/Wesker until the Wesker roleplayer changed and Chris rebooted his character.
* CameBackWrong: Subverted in that [[spoiler: Wesker is purposely trying to invoke this trope by having Spectre kill Sherry and, when [[NotHimself she's brought back, she will be completely different.]] ]]
* CanonDiscontinuity: Any interactions between the characters in the RP group and other RP groups are non-canon by default.
* CantHaveSexEver: More like the plotline never wants Spectre and Sherry to have sex, even when it keeps building up to it.
** Excella [[ItMakesSenseInContext cockblocking Parker.]]
* CantHoldHisLiquor: Four Eyes and Parker.
* CarpetOfVirility: Parker as Type 2. He's described as being like a big, cuddly teddy bear. [[HoYay By HUNK.]]
* CerebusRollercoaster: Already present, but more obvious when a different roleplayer started playing Wesker.
* CharacterAlignment
* CharacterDevelopment: Many of the characters undergo this due to the events of the story.
* ChekhovsBoomerang: The architecture of Wesker's facility.
* ChekhovsGun: [[spoiler: Parker's BSAA radio transmitter.]]
* ChronicBackstabbingDisorder: Wesker, as per {{canon}}.
* ClickHello: How Lupo is introduced.
* ColdBloodedTorture: Wesker does this to [[spoiler: Sherry Birkin.]]
* CombatMedic: Bertha
* ComedicSociopathy: Bertha's views on torture.
* ConstantlyCurious: Four Eyes, Parker, Alyssa
** This gets a LampshadeHanging, where the Parker roleplayer keeps saying that the characters should form a club of people too curious for their own good.
* ContinuityDrift: Wesker [[spoiler: being able to take the form of a small child does not happen anymore, for the obvious reasons.]]
* ContinuityLockout: Averted with the rules. All plotlines have to make a good amount of sense.
* ContinuityNod: DependingOnTheWriter, naturally. Some writers throw in quite a few references, while others keep it to a minimum. This includes both nods to the roleplay storyline and nods to the games.
* ContinuityReboot: This plotline is actually the result of one.
* ConverseWithTheUnconscious
* CoughSnarkCough: Parker saying anything about Chris being on steroids.
** [[http://theoneandonlyjillvalentine.tumblr.com/post/13569356880/parkerluciani-theoneandonlyjillvalentine A whole exchange between Jill and Parker.]]
* CryIntoChest: Parker does this with HUNK. [[spoiler: He just hallucinated that Four Eyes was dead and didn't know it was a hallucination.]]
* CuddleBug: Parker
* CurbStompBattle: Wesker versus RPD. Wesker wins.
** Wesker versus anyone.
* CuriosityIsACrapshoot: Mostly negative or neutral.
** Four Eyes has to leave the city and lie low for a good portion of time, because she started researching something [[spoiler: that could end up revealing one of Wesker's weaknesses.]]
** Alyssa seems to be headed here, given that she keeps searching for answers and detangling the whole mess and reveal the truth...
* DangerousDeserter: [[spoiler: Parker. His roleplayer goes out of the way to point out just how utterly screwed Parker would be in those circumstances.]]
* DarkActionGirl: Lupo, Four Eyes, Bertha, [[spoiler: Sherry]]
* DarkAndTroubledPast: The backstory alterations for Sheva make her fall under this trope more than even in canon. Parents that died (canon), DoomedHometown (canon), joining guerrillas (canon), being sexually abused by her uncle (alteration), killing another kid when she was a teenager (alteration), and being experimented on by her parents (alteration).
* DarkIsNotEvil: RPD and several of the Wolfpack have shades of this.
* TheDeadHaveNames
* DeadpanSnarker: RPD, among others
* DealWithTheDevil: Anyone who makes a deal with Wesker has this issue in a non-supernatural version of this trope.
* DeathActivatedSuperpower: [[spoiler: Sheva's emotion control ability.]]
* DeathAmnesia: [[spoiler: Sherry]] [[http://uss-sherry-birkin.tumblr.com/post/13717493959/vladimir-bodrovski-albert-nodded-to-the-two-standing in this thread.]]
* DeathIsCheap: What with all the viruses that can bring back the dead.
* DeliverUsFromEvil: Excella.
* DentedIron: RPD, Parker, Beltway, Leon, Lupo, and Jessica.
* DependingOnTheWriter: Due to how it has multiple authors, quality and style vary quite a lot.
** There are also some instances of different people playing the same character, changing their interpretation in certain ways.
** Horror, action, romance, comedy, drama, or a mix of some? Depends on the writer, too.
* DestructiveSavior: Wesker thinking of himself as a savior, while him and his subordinates causing quite a bit of destruction, would fall under this.
* DidNotDoTheResearch: In-story example: Wesker either does not know or does not care about the Geneva Convention at all.
** OOC examples include when roleplayers goof on details such as halter tops having arm straps.
* DidTheyOrDidntThey: Sometimes shows up. Some of the roleplayers keep it ambiguous.
* DidWeJustHaveTeaWithCthulhu: Alyssa somehow doesn't freak out at interviewing RPD, a sentient ''licker''.

* ThroughTheEyesOfMadness: [[spoiler: It's hard to tell what is real and what is hallucinations in a plotline between HUNK and Parker, where both characters are hallucinating due to a serum.]]
* TimeyWimeyBall: Non-time travel example. Depending on who you ask, the timeline will be different in certain places and in overall length (how many days passed between specific events). Chat [=RPs=] are normally considered canon, but it's hard to place them on the canon timeline.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood:
** RPD loves jello. He even steals some [[spoiler: from HUNK when HUNK was in the hospital due to gunshot wounds.]]

** Hunnigan and ice cream and/or alcohol
* TriggerHappy: Jessica
* TroperWorks: At least one of the roleplayers is a Troper. The question is which roleplayer.
* TwoLinesNoWaiting: Multiple plot threads with different characters, all going on at roughly the same time.
* UniversalDriversLicense:
** Played straight with Sheva.
** Averted with Parker. Parker does not have an international or US drivers' license. (It was implied by the roleplayer, since he walks everywhere or occasionally accepts rides to places.) [[spoiler: It becomes a plot point, since Sherry tries to divert Alyssa from a story by claiming Parker got into a car crash. Alyssa double checked and found out he didn't have a license and the car in the story wasn't hotwired or reported stolen.]]

** Averted with Spectre disappearing.
** Played straight with two different crack ships being split off due to new people roleplaying one of the characters in the pair. More specifically:
*** [[spoiler: When the Beltway roleplayer had to leave for personal reasons, he was replaced by a new Beltway. This has been brought up by the Rebecca roleplayer, who even lampshaded, in-character, that Beltway is acting completely different. She still associates with the Wolfpack but, since Bertha is back as medic, she is not their medic anymore. She still associates with them.]]
*** [[spoiler: The Parker roleplayer has quite a conundrum. As she has pointed out on her personal blog, she cannot force the new Four Eyes to ship the pairing. If the new roleplayer is given a blank slate, several important actions Parker took in-story now make no sense whatsoever and resemble something akin to Don Quixote questing for Dulcenia. (This includes him infecting himself to preserve a sample of a virus.) If Parker is rebooted, then much of the main plot and several characters' involvement is rendered nonsensical and, should they remain in the main plot, it causes more plot holes. But them breaking up also makes no sense, because it was one of the more realistic and healthy relationships in the story. It has to be left alone, otherwise it would end up a Voodoo Shark.]]
* WhatIsEvil: Excella brings up this point occasionally.
* WhatMeasureIsAMook: Played straight, particularly with most of the Umbrella affiliated characters. They don't care about killing civilians or guards. Averted with several characters, notably RPD and [[spoiler: Parker]] (due to moral reasons) and HUNK (due to how hard it normally is to hide the bodies on a mission).
* WhatMeasureIsANonHuman: RPD has problems with this. [[spoiler: Certain people he regularly interacts with, like HUNK and Parker, treat him as human. Others, such as several of the scientists and Wesker, treat him as nothing more than an experiment and a weapon.]]
* WhatTheHellHero: [[http://parkerluciani.tumblr.com/post/11934990045/a-bsaa-soa-agent-beltway-uss-demolitionspecialist Beltway gets one from Parker after]] [[spoiler: Beltway goes off and kills a bunch of civilians.]]
* WhereTheHellIsSpringfield
* WickedCultured: Both Excella and Wesker exemplify this, but mainly Excella. Being raised in Milan, Excella has an extensive knowledge of classical Italian literature, art, and music. This adds to her charm and makes her manipulative powers even more effective. She has also been credited to wearing expensive designer clothing and always having a professional, yet elegant appearance.
* WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity:
** [[spoiler: Parker is slowly losing his mind.]]
** [[spoiler: Chris, somewhat, due to the control device.]]
* WomanScorned: Jill at the start of the story, Excella when Jill gets involved
* {{Workaholic}}: Sergei and Four Eyes.
* WorstNewsJudgmentEver: Averted by Alyssa. She focuses in on several of the main characters' actions fairly quickly.
* WouldNotHitAGirl: Vector
* WouldntHurtAChild: Jill and Parker
* WritingByTheSeatOfYourPants: A necessity for all the roleplayers. Unexpected plot twists help this along.
* WrittenInAbsence:
** Four Eyes disappearing. (When the roleplayer took a hiatus the second time around, though, and there was no explanation this time of what happened to the character, this gets a {{lampshade hanging}} from Parker in-roleplay, with him mentioning that he needs to drag her out of the lab sometime so she can get some sunlight.)
** Spectre supposedly dying, then coming back, as an explanation for when the roleplayer left for a short time.
** Characters note when another character is gone for a long while.
* XanatosGambit
* XanatosSpeedChess
* YouGoGirl: Forest uses a variation of this often.
* YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe: Employed by Bertha. Often.
* YouKeepUsingThatWord: Parker says this, referring to Excella's use of the word "condescending."
* YourDoorWasOpen: RPD's response when Bertha catches him snooping around her room.
* YoureNotMyType: Parker says variations of this so much that you could make a drinking game out of it.

This is a rather trope-heavy AlternateUniverse ResidentEvil [[http://residentevil-list.tumblr.com RP group found on Tumblr.]] The basic plotline is as follows: Wesker's back from the dead, along with Umbrella and the Wolfpack.
