* GenderNeutralWriting: The Destron spy in the Buildrons has never been referred to with gendered pronouns so the list of suspects can't be narrowed down.

* AbortedArc: Mirage was shown planning to go to Overlord's tournament to gather intel when the announcement was first made. However, he didn't go with Jet Convoy's team, and never wound up going to Tarn. He didn't even show signs of being busy when asked by Nightbeat and Searchlight for help investigating the Sea of Rust outpost...
** ...which was itself dropped in the middle of a fight between the Buildron team sent there, Thunderhoof, and an unnamed bot, which Shinkaiser had stumbled on during his travels fixing railways. Breakaway, one of the Buildrons sent out, was later seen back at Decagon with no sign of ever being gone, and the Bravers were preparing a separate trip to check on the outpost, leaving it unclear how the fight turned out.

* FriendsTurnedRomanticRivals: Among the many reasons for Jetfire and Beta Levo's falling out was both of them developing feelings for their friend Override, who reciprocated Jetfire's, and not Beta's.

* ICantFeelMyLegs: Arcee realizes she's been paralyzed from the neck down from being hit in the head by a shot from the Claw Skulls when she's unable to move her legs. Luckily, she manages to get the needed repairs to fix the issue.
* INeverToldYouMyName: Sky Scanner offers to help get Vortex up to speed on what goes on in Megazarak's warband with his extensive knowledge pool. However, he refers to Vortex by name while doing so, which the latter points out he hadn't said yet... and Sky Scanner then implies he can use what he knows against Vortex with ease.
* IdealistVsPragmatist: A villainous version sees Destrons Blitzwing and Barricade debating over what to do with the captured Rodimus Prime. [[NobleDemon Honorable warrior Blitzwing]] wants to present him to Megazarak so he can be taken care of in a fair duel, while Barricade, being a pragmatist, wants to kill him right then and there, considering honor to be stupid.

* KeepingTheEnemyClose: Megazarak's reasoning for making Bugly second-in-command.

** Shockwave became Decepticon leader in his universe by killing his former leader.

* MakeSureHesDead: Even after Hellbash exploded in front of him, Roadfire still rips his head off just to be sure he stays down.
* MakeThemRot: The Rust-ray rifle Gutcruncher provides Bugly can make anything metal it hits rapidly rust away. On a metal world populated by robots, this an incredibly potent weapon, but thankfully, Bugly only paid for [[AmmunitionConservation three bullets]].
* MakesUsEven: Bugly decides to get an unconscious Stalker out of the water before he electrifies it. He only does it because the reason Stalker even ended up in that situation was due to him taking a shot meant for Bugly.
* MechanicalLifeforms: Cybertron is populated entirely by robots.
* MinorMajorCharacter: Sigmatron, original leader of the Destrons, died before the series even began. However, not only is he the one who started the Great War, but his final act resulted in not only the current state Cybertron is in, [[spoiler: but the aftermath is what's forcing both sides to leave the planet before it's destroyed]]. Without him, the series would have never even happened.

* TheMole: Megazarak's Warband has a spy inside Decagon that reports to Sky Scanner. This is how he learned of the ''Arklight''.
* MolotovCocktail: Flywheels plans to use engex to set Octopunch on fire, [[spoiler: but Octopunch gets killed before it can be used.]]

* ConfrontingYourImposter: Jet Convoy steps in to fight Sky Shadow after the shapeshifter disguised himself as him to get to the ''Arklight'', though by that point, Sky Shadow had dropped the act altogether.

* DissonantSerenity: Freezon isn't concerned in the slightest about Nitro Zeus telling them they'll be abducted, convonced the whole conversation is a lucid dream.

* ForWantOfANail: Rodimus Prime theorizes that the reason his AlternateSelf Hot Rod is so much more positive than him is because he never experienced the bullying and loss he went through.
* ForeignWrestlingHeel: As soon as Trailbreaker makes it incredibly clear he's a Buildron during his first match in Overlord's tournament, Doombox takes the opportunity to mock him for being ones. The Destron audience members also boo him when he wins the match.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: Bugly remarks that he should get PoweredArmor like Megazarak's. Later, once he gets the resources, he has Deluge make him some.
** Sky Shadow mentions to Rodimus Prime that he's working for a cyclops. Later, Rodimus is captured by Shockwave, who confirms he sent out Sky Shadow.
* ForgotAboutHisPowers: Misfire is dismayed that the Destrons took off to rescue Freezon before he could get on the shuttle... until Bugly points out Misfire has a jet mode, and can just fly after them.

* FriendsTurnedRomanticRivals: Among the reasons for Jetfire and Beta Levo's falling out were them both developing feelings for their other friend Override... who only reciprocated Jetfire's.

* GoodGuyBar: Maccadam's II: Electric Boogaloo served as the place for Buildrons to drink when off duty until the Wildriders blew it up. Another, unnamed bar has since picked up the slack.
* HalfTheManHeUsedToBe: Shack loses both legs when his cannon overheats, though he manages to quickly get some replacements.

** The pick axe on Straxus's armor has a button that makes it say his most famous line from his debut appearance: "Mercy is not dispensed here, fools... only Death!".

* BadBadActing: When trying to lure Octopunch towards them, Megazarak and Freezon pretend to be [[DamselInDistress lost, innocent femmes]]. However, their acting isn't good, with Megazarak overacting while Freezon gives a completely emotionless delivery.
* BadGuyBar: Forkular has a bar, called The Hanged One.

* AdaptationalHeroism: [[DownplayedTrope Downplayed]] with Thundercracker. While there have been bots with that name who sided with the good guys, they all started the series off on the side of evil. This Thundercracker was a Buildron from the start of the series, with his defection being relegated to his backstory.
** Speaking of the Buildrons, the entire group gets this treatment, seeing how the name was originally used in Japan for the Constructicons, a Decepticon subgroup.

* IllKillYou: Bunker-Buster tells Octopunch this is the reason why he [[DepartmentOfRedundencyDepartment should prepare for death]].

* InNameOnly: Though fairly obscure, [[https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Bunker-Buster there actually is an official Bunker-Buster in Transformers]]. Besides both being DumbMuscle, they don't have much in common, with the most obvious difference being that the Bunker-Buster here is [[ConjoinedTwins Bunker and Buster]].

** A drunken Sunstreaker sings [[Music/EltonJohn Rocket Man]]

* SeriesContinuityError: Jet Convoy notes that he came up with his alias for the mission to Tarn when he went to Lysexx... except he uses a completely different alias.

* AbortedArc: Mirage was shown planning to go to Overlord's tournament to gather intel when the announcement was first made. However, he didn't go with Jet Convoy's team, and never wound up going to Tarn.

* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: Steelnugget was last seen getting escorted to a holding cell in Decagon. The Buildrons have yet to do anything with him, and the Destrons don't seem to know or care that he's missing.

** Thundercracker mentions being garishly colored in his coma dream, referencing his... [[FashionVictimVillain rather loud]] Action master color scheme.
** Hot Shot says he hurt his arm trying to do the P.O.K.E., the name given to Lugnut's punch in ''WesternAnimation/TransformersAnimated''.

* GenderFlip: Here, Megazarak is female, when all the canon versions of the character have always been male. Same applies to Ratchet, Blitzwing and several other ladies in the RP.

* ShipTease: Megazarak and Stalker have shown signs of having more than professional interest in each other, as Stalker has told Megazarak that she looks stunning in any armor.
