Mary has recently started her new job at the bowling alley with Brenda (Creator/MelissaPeterman), when she runs into Pastor Rob (Dan Byrd), who is there with his new girlfriend Shannon (Francesca Xuereb), who Mary babysat when she was a teenager. Brenda later finds Mary crying in her office, and invites her to go to a Wild West-themed bar. At the bar, Mary vehemently denies feeling any attraction to Rob, but Brenda sees through it. Mary and Brenda then hit the dancefloor.

Meanwhile, Sheldon and Missy are trying to figure out ways to make extra money for the family. Sheldon considers writing for ''Franchise/StarTrek'', and he pitches an episode he wrote to George, who seems disinterested, but ends up pointing out a critical plot hole that Sheldon can't figure out how to close. Sheldon then devises a system of digital currency where each unit of currency is stored as a specific, mathematically-rare number (i.e. cryptocurrency), and asks Georgie for help with the scheme, but Georgie refuses after Sheldon tells him that a computer to host the currency will cost $500,000.
