* YouKilledMyFather: Lampshaded, as both Xena and Otere acknowledge that the latter's father was one of the villagers killed in an attack led by the former. Otere is angry about what happened to the man, but she never seeks revenge and even feels somewhat appreciative to Xena for forcing her to learn to survive.

* BittersweetEnding: Mostly sweet, as Alti is killed, the dead Amazons are free to cross over, the living ones can safely rebuild, and Xena learns that Gabrielle is alive. The only cause for concern is the FlashForward.
* BondOneLiner: "Now, you know your future."
* CallForward: Cyane warns that Borias will get killed if he and Xena stay together.
* ChildrenAreInnocent: Xena figures Alti cursed Solan because "the light from a child's face" is an undeniable MoralityChain.

* IOweYouMyLife: Otere admits that Xena ravaging her home forced her to learn to survive, so she says she sort of feels she owes a debt (all while admitting how strange that is). An apologetic Xena doesn't see it that way and instead intends to make up for what happened by helping her and the overall tribe get back on their feet.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: Xena finishes Alti by kicking her into a rather sharp tree branch.

* TheSmurfettePrinciple: {{Inverted}}. Boreas is the only male character in this two-parter.

to:

* NoHoldsBarredBeatdown: Xena gives Alti one after getting her second wind.
* ProphecyTwist: Otere becomes leader, taking Xena's power and thus fulfilling Alti's earlier prediction. The twist is that Xena gave it up willingly and that Otere didn't seek revenge for her father's death.
* ShutUpKirk: When Xena gets a little too defiant about how she can be defeated, Alti reveals the curse she placed on Solan just to spite her.
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: {{Inverted}}. Boreas is the only male character in this two-parter.two-parter.
* WhatDoesSheSeeInHim: Cyane questions Xena spending her life with Borias. Xena assumes she's asking this of her, but Cyane actually says the opposite and that it's Borias who deserves better (due to his more civilized nature and his desire to better himself).

Added a new trope I think fit

Added DiffLines:

* MightyWhitey: Xena knows the rituals and customs of the Amazon tribe better than the people in the tribe, saves them all and frees those trapped by Alti from the land of the dead. Though the tribe is white themselves, they're clearly meant to represent Native American tribes.
