* OurFounder: After Monica returns to S.W.O.R.D. headquarters, she passes by a prominent plaque showing her mother, Maria "Photon" Rambeau, who helped found S.W.O.R.D. and served as its director before passing away.
* OutOfFocus: Despite being the title characters, Wanda and Vision are barely in this episode and appear mostly through footage from the first three episodes until the very end. At the same time, both of them, Wanda in particular, continue to drive the plot.
* OutlivingOnesOffspring: Played with. Maria outlived Monica when Monica died in [[Film/AvengersInfinityWar the Snap]], and then died during the five-year TimeSkip, only for Monica to be brought back during the Blip.

The action flashes back to the climax of ''Film/AvengersEndgame'' and follows a newly un-snapped Monica Rambeau as she attempts to acclimate to the new world of 2023 she's awoken in. Returning to her job at S.W.O.R.D. in a reduced capacity, she's dispatched to New Jersey to assist the F.B.I. in a missing persons case. She arrives and joins up with Jimmy Woo, who explains that it is actually a missing ''town'' case: Westview, New Jersey is surrounded by a mysterious barrier, nobody living in the town can be contacted, and locals deny any knowledge of the town's existence at all. Monica is sucked through the barrier, disappearing into Westview.

Later episodes confirmed that Monica was under some level of mind control as Geraldine, so this doesn't really apply

* IndyPloy: Since Monica got sucked into Westview before learning what exactly caused the anomaly and receiving her mission, and since the end of the last episode and this episode revealed that she had her memory of the outside world intact while she was “Geraldine”, that means the whole time Monica was inside Westview as “Geraldine” she was just ''winging it,'' playing along while trying to get closer to Wanda to find out what’s going on.

I think that's stretching quite a bit. Chances are more likely that Jimmy just reported in to his superiors that the S.W.O.R.D. agent that game in to help him got sucked into a mysterious energy field and Hayward did the rest.

* HiddenDepths: Jimmy Woo; in the space of 24 hours, Jimmy manages to get S.W.O.R.D. to set up a support base ''and'' bring in a half-dozen scientific specialists to analyze the situation.

* JumpCut: As Jimmy and Darcy are trying to communicate with Wanda via Dottie's clock radio, the scene jumps over the part of Dottie cutting her hand. The sound effect of her breaking the glass jumps to when Dottie asks how to get a blood stain out of linen. Darcy notices that ''something'' is wrong but isn't sure what. Later, she and Jimmy notice when "Geraldine" disappears from the scene, just before Monica is ejected from Westview.
