* LaserGuidedKarma: Coral and her GirlPosse, Opal and Jade, use magic to poof up some late passes for the BFFL when they're having trouble finding their first class, but when Principal Trollercrombie finds the girls and sees their late passes, he says that the passes that Coral, Opal and Jade aren't real and that you can only get late passes from the office. While the principal is kind enough to let the BFFL off with a warning (and is also nice enough to actually help them find their first class), he ultimately chews out Coral, Opal and Jade for what they did and even punishes them by giving them detention.

Ruby finally caves in and asks Mr. Trollheimer, their homeroom teacher, for help, but Snarf may be an even greater danger than getting lost at school--he transforms from friendly puppy into a rampaging ogre! With the help of Amethyst's necklace, the girls banish him to wherever he came from with the Magic of the Five. They then learn that Obsidian and Mr. Trollheimer know one another somehow, and that Snarf may have only ran away--it isn't easy to get rid of a creature like that for good. Amethyst asks about the master Snarf talked about, but Obsidian says not to worry about him--yet.

It's the Trollz' first day at Trollzopolis High. Amethyst gets a special necklace from her mom that used to belong to her grandmother. When they arrive, though, Ruby is too proud to ask for help getting around, leading them into conflict with the head cheerleader, Coral. Making matters worse is a red dog-like creature they run into named Snarf. Snarf wants them to help find his master no matter what, even if it disrupts their lessons and lives.
