* DidntSeeThatComing: None of the vampires had the slightest idea that the original occupants of the town were werewolves. The same goes for Ray, who feels like a fool for not suspecting it due to the town's name.

* FurAgainstFang: It turns out the vampires unknowingly took over a community belonging to a group of werewolves. Once free and under the full moon, the original occupants transform and do battle with the vampires. The Ghostbusters opt to bail out rather than see who wins, especially with the back-and-forth biting transforming the creatures.

* AmbiguouslyEvil: The rival vampires make a deal with Peter and Ray, saying they'll go free once Gregor is defeated. However, Peter can't shake the feeling these vampires would pull a YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness in the end, a sentiment Ray finds himself agreeing with. The leader later threatens Peter should Ray accidentally perform some friendly fire. The sudden arrival of the werewolves leave it up in the air if these vampires would've honored the deal or betrayed the guys.

* CannotCrossRunningWater: Ray recalls how vampires are incapable of crossing running water. The guys destroy a nearby dam, causing a flow of water around the town and trapping both the vampires and the bitten werewolves.
* ChallengeSeeker: Egon is intrigued by the idea of facing vampires, due to wanting to test the equipment on such creatures.

* DidntSeeThatComing: None of the vampires had the slightest idea that the original occupants of the town were werewolves.

* GenreSavvy: Since the equipment has never been tested on vampires before, Winston initially wants no part of this case. He says every vampire movie he ever always demonstrated what happens to those that charge in without being fully prepared and knowledgeable of the threat. Unfortunately, Gregor's offer of gold coins makes him drop the complaint.
* LittleNo: Lyta when it looks like Egon was killed in the proton pack explosion.

Added DiffLines:

* MustBeInvited: Janine thinks Slimer opened the door to leave the firehouse, but we see him hiding under Ecto-1 at the time. It was actually Gregor getting Janine's attention, so she would walk outside. As we later learn he's a vampire, he couldn't simply walk into the firehouse because he wasn't invited.

Added DiffLines:

* NotSoAboveItAll: The promise of a treasure chest full of gold coins makes Winston forego his more rational approach to dangerous cases.
* OhCrap: When Egon notices Gregor doesn't have a reflection, he gapes.

Added DiffLines:

* OutsideContextProblem: The Ghostbusters don't dismiss the idea that vampires exist, but they acknowledge how they've never faced them before and thus don't know if the proton packs will work. They don't, and the first encounter ends badly. Ray has to do some serious tinkering to find a way to make the proton packs work on vampires.

* RapidFireNo: Ray, upon realizing the original inhabitants of the town are werewolves.

* TheRenfield: Lyta is a servant of Gregor and lives in fear of him. She takes a liking to Egon, but she'll only help the guys on the condition that they'll help her escape the town. She hitches a ride on Ecto-1 in the end, which Egon is aware of.

Added DiffLines:

* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: In the face of FurAgainstFang, only Peter is curious to see who actually wins. The others want to drive away as quickly as possible.

* StrangeMindsThinkAlike: Once free, the leader of the original community says the vampires actually had the same idea they did: live safely away from humans in an isolated town.

* WhamShot: As Gregor talks to Egon and Winston in the basement, Egon glances over at a mirror and notices Gregor's missing reflection.

The Ghostbusters are in bed fast asleep, but Janine is still at work, and Slimer is playing cards with her. Then, a man shows up and gives her his address, telling her to tell the Ghostbusters to meet him there after dusk the next day. Before leaving, he introduces himself as Gregor.

The Ghostbusters follow the address, which leads them to an eerie town called Lupusville. There, they meet some people in strange clothes, some of whom are oddly big or small. Then, they talk to Gregor, who explains that he wants the Ghostbusters to help the Lupusville people deal with a vampire problem. The Ghostbusters are nervous, since they don't know much about vampires, but they eventually agree to help.

They go out in the forest, and eventually decide to use the PKE meter and get signals from all around them. Then, a colony of bats show up, who turn into vampires. They try shooting at them, but it doesn't work, then in the fray, the Ghostbusters are knocked out, much to the shock of a short woman who'd followed them.

When Peter and Ray wake up, they find themselves kidnapped by a vampire, who reveals that the other vampires have Egon and Winston. The vampire reveals that Gregor was actually a vampire all along and is in fact the leader of the vampires. The other vampire explains that he used to be the leader, but Gregor and his followers invaded Lupusville and the others are trying to get them to stop lest the humans find out about their existence and kill them.

Gregor, meanwhile, has kidnapped Egon and Winston, and lies that their only hope is to wipe out the (other) vampires. However, Egon realises that Gregor is a vampire because he sees he has no reflection. Peter and Ray go off, then the little woman frees Ray and Winston, and she agrees to help them but only if they take her with them since she's Gregor's servant. Then, Peter and Ray come up with a plan to round out the other vampires with pretend sunlight.

She leads them to some imprisoned Lupusville citizens, and Egon and Winston free them, but then when they meet up with Peter and Ray, who are tangling with the vampires, the ex-prisoners turn out to be werewolves. While the supernaturals fight, the Ghostbusters leave, with Egon revealing that they become hybrids when they bite one another. Then, they divert a river so the vampires can't cross, confining them to the town.
