* {{Gaslighting}}: Because Pooh forgot his part of what to do in Tigger's plan, Piglet is forced to suffer this as part of Kanga's AdaptationalDumbass when she mistakes him for Roo, much to his chagrin. When Pooh finally remembers this and finishes his part of the plan, it's far too late as Piglet was already given Roo's bath instead. When Kanga asks who Piglet is, still under the impression that he was Roo, Pooh (in typical fashion) forgets in the moment, causing Piglet to go briefly insane. Fortunately, Pooh recognizes Piglet after he falls into a river and they make amends, while Kanga reunites with Roo [[LaserGuidedKarma after he and Tigger wind up getting themselves trapped in a mass of mud and bubblegum]].

* AdaptationalDumbass: Zigzagged: In the original story it was made a lot more clear that Kanga knew it was Piglet the whole time but was treating him like Roo in order to teach him a lesson, it's not clarified well in this adaptation and as a result it makes it look like Kanga is suffering from this trope.

* MythologyGag: The episode takes rough story beats from the chapter "In Which Kanga and Baby Roo Come to the Forest and Piglet has a Bath" from the original novel. Incidentally ''Piglet's Big Movie'' would adapt the story more fully for the Disney canon.

* FauxHorrific: In the beginning, Roo appears and begs Tigger to save him...from Kanga about to give him a bath.

to:

* BathsAreFun: Roo didn't want to have a bath and Tigger convinced him that baths were "the end." In the end, Kanga got them in the bath ("scrubbly bubbly") and Tigger realized the truth about baths. "You get, you get... you get clean." Roo declares that it's fun and Tigger admits that he was wrong, though he was right about one thing... it is... the end. (And the episode ends.)
