* AnAesop:
** Let your kids have their privacy and make their own decisions.
** You shouldn't be overprotective of your loved ones if you believe they don't know what they're doing.

* OverprotectiveDad: Family in this case as all the Casagrandes want to keep an eye on Ronnie Anne while she goes downtown.

* AnAesop: There's three:

* EnfanteTerrible: The Fox quintuplets. They've did stuff like trapping Leni inside the crawl space or locking her outside in the rain, wrapping Lori in a rug and pushing her downstairs, and throwing a skunk in the bathroom while Luna was using it. Luckily, Lynn herself was one as well, meaning she's able to control the quintuplets by showing them how much worse she can be.

** When the Casagrandes find the tracking device stuck to a rat, Hector concludes that the rats ate Ronnie Anne, while Rosa thinks Ronnie Anne was [[BalefulPolymorph turned into a rat by dark magic]]. [[OnlySaneMan Carlota]] calls them out on this and concludes what really must have happened.

* BabysitterFromHell: Lynn is considered to be this due to her aggressiveness. This causes Lori, Leni, Luna, and Luan to lose their babysitting jobs. This is averted with the other four sisters, who are apparently considered to be the best babysitters in Royal Woods.
* BabysittingEpisode: Lincoln's four oldest sisters are revealed to run a babysitting service together and, according to Leni, the four of them all started taking babysitting jobs when they were 13--Lynn, who's 13, ends up joining their babysitting group when Lori, Leni, Luna and Luan are in need of a babysitter for a fifth family.
* BadlyBatteredBabysitter: Anyone who babysits the Fox quintuplets become this, except for Lynn who is able to handle their rowdiness.

** When Lynn objects to her older sisters' complaint that she's not a nursing type, she tries to prove her point by grabbing Lisa and [[AffectionateGestureToTheHead rubbing her hair]]. However, she's so aggressive that Lisa runs away screaming the moment Lynn lets go.

* SpringtimeForHitler: The four older sisters trick Lynn into accepting to babysit the Fox quintuplets, knowing how rough they are, in hopes that it will scare her out of babysitting forever. Instead, it becomes a huge success for all involved. Unlike most cases of this trope, the sisters are actually glad their plan failed because it means they don’t have to babysit the quintuplets anymore.

* BrutalHonesty: When Carlota tries to politely tell her grandparents that they are too old to accompany Ronnie Anne downtown, C.J. simply blurts it out.

** When Ronnie Anne states that Bobby is the one her grandparents should worry about, due to his habit of getting stuck in the dairy case, her grandmother states that at least he is safe, and has plenty to eat.

* KidHasAPoint: As Ronnie Anne notes, Bobby's the one their grandparents should be worrying about--even though Ronnie Anne (who's 11) is much younger than Bobby (who's 17), she's obviously more capable of taking care of herself and not getting into trouble.
