Bykov calls Kupitman to say just one word: "today", then hangs up. He refuses to answer Kisegach's questions just what he meant, but for whatever reason he takes a hammer when leaves for work. Failing to learn anything from Bykov, Kisegach starts asking Kupitman (she expects them just planning to get drunk again), and suspects that he's hiding a bottle. Kupitman only agrees to show her anything under a threat of being fired -- and it turns out that he's hiding... a fire extinguisher. He refuses to explain just ''why'' he needs it. Later, Bykov returns from... whatever he had doing with Kupitman, and refuses to explain anything, only drops a rubber glove when leaves. Kisegach decides to asks Lyuba: maybe she knows what's going on? Bykov acts very weirdly, and just today: one time, he started cutting off a sleeve from his leather jacket, only to then stitch it back "for practice"; another, he tried to make "important chemical experiment" on their kitchen; and yet another, when he brought a glass jar with toad in it (not even a snake!), which is "for someone else". Lyuba has no idea what Bykov is up to -- but she remembers Bykov and Kupitman locking up in the archive for some unknown purpose... When Kisegach goes to archive, she sees the sign of some weird medical experiment taking place. There's also a note pointing to their pathologist, Violetta Karlovna. When asking her, Kisegach learns that Bykov took one corpse from her, without explaining why.

Kisegach traces Bykov all the way to the attic, where he and Kupitman planned to do "something" -- during storm, no less -- but Bykov moves from there before she forces any explanation out of him or Kupitman. When pressed further, Bykov reluctantly reveals the truth: they actually practiced [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capoeira capoeira]], and feared that if someone would find out, they would become everyone's laughing stock. Kisegach pretends to believe... only to steal the key from Bykov's coat when he leaves. Kisegach visits the attic without Bykov -- and finds the clear signs that there's going on some experiment, with the dead body which Bykov took from Violetta being here as well. And then the corpse starts moving! Kisegach panics and prepares to run, only for Bykov to appear and grab her from behind. Then corpse rises completely, removing the cover, and turns out that it was Kupitman -- and all of this was one large prank on Kisegach! When asked just ''why'' he did this, Bykov reveals that it's his little vengeance for being constantly pressed about need to start doing something scientific; he's too busy with patients, he has no time for science! If he would... well, then he would try something "funny", like this Frankenstein-esque "dark science".

Bykov called Kupitman to say just one word: "today", then hanged up. He refused to answer Kisegach's questions just what he meant, but for whatever reason he took the hammer when leaved for work.

Phil still believes what he and Katia are made for each other, not knowing she's prostitute. Polina thinks it's time to inform him, because the more they wait, the more painful it would be, and Timur agrees with her. But since Timur has no any good ideas, Polina decided to deal with problem by herself.

Alexei has rather attractive patient, who now demands "that attractive doctor" to visit her. Since Gleb was presented during her examination, he now thinks what she meant him, while Lyosha thinks she means ''him''.

Kisegach, failing to learn anything from Bykov, starts asking Kupitman (she expects them once gain getting drunk), and suspects what he hides a bottle. Kupitman only agreed to show her anything under threat of being fired -- and it turns out what he hides... fire extinguisher. He refused to answer just ''why'' he needs it.

Polina warns Phil what there's some... issues with Katia. Namely, she had a lot of males before him. Like, ''really'' a lot -- if he understands what she means. He says what he does, without specifying what exactly he "understood".

Bykov just returned from... whatever he had with Kupitman. He refuses to explain anything, and dropped rubber glove when leaved. Just what's going on?

Turns out what that patient ''really'' was interested in Alexei, not Gleb -- which surprised and offended Gleb. Then Alexei explained what this isn't one-time occurrence: Gleb starts losing his attractiveness to women, and they more and more often become more interested in Lyosha instead of him.

Kisegach decided to ask Lyuba: maybe she knows what's going on with Bykov? He acts really weird, and not only today, like that one time he started cutting off the sleeve of his leather jacket, only to then stitch it back "just to train". Or when he started making "important chemical experiment" on their kitchen. Or when he brought up a toad in the glass jar (even snake would be better, but he chose toad, of all things), which is "for someone else". Lyuba has no idea what Bykov is up to -- but she remembers Bykov and Kupitman locking up in archive for whatever reason...

Phil made entirely wrong conclusions from what Polina said, and now thinks what Katia having "lots of other men before him" means what she has a lot of prior partners -- and Phil can't compete with them all; if she would compare him to each one, she ''would'' find what he is... too boring and inexperienced for her. Which makes Phil feeling too awkward.

Kisegach visits archives, and finds signs of some weird medical experiment taking place. There's also note pointing to their pathologist, Violetta Karlovna. When asking her, Kisegach learned what Bykov took one corpse from her, but for what reason?

Gleb plans to "prove" to Lyosha what he still better with women than him, by attracting anyone he wants, by attracting attention of one randomly chosen girl. Unfortunately, that attempt immediately went wrong when she fell for Lyosha instead. Gleb can't find any words to say to him.

Timur fears what if they wouldn't stop this now, Phil would go all the way with his plan, and, when it would inevitably fail miserably, would only develop inferiority complex. Instead, they should bribe -- or blackmail, if it fails -- Katia into dumping Phil preemptively. After that, Katia agreed on the bribe Polina offered.

Kisegach traced Bykov all the way to the attic, where he and Kupitman planned to do ''something'' -- during storm, no less -- but Bykov moved her out before she forced any explanation out from him or Kupitman. When pressed further, Bykov reluctantly revealed the truth: they actually practice [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capoeira capoeira]], and feared what if someone would find out, they would become everyone's laughing stock. Kisegach pretended to believe... only to steal the key from Bykov's coat when Bykov leaved.

Gleb complains to Lyuba about his failures to impress any girl, since this makes him feel like the old, ugly man -- and Lyuba revealed what it was her who told everyone to not falling for his advances, since he would marry soon, and his bride is rather jealous. While Gleb feels relief after learning what it was Lyuba's fault, not his, he's still angry at her, and asked to not doing anything like this again: he may deal with these problems by himself.

Phil says to Katia what yes, he is not the best in bed, but this is not the all about him; she should become closer to him -- and make decision herself, wether she wants him in her life, or not. Despite awkwardness of the situation, she agreed.

Kisegach visited the attic without Bykov -- and found clear signs what some experiment goes here, with dead body Bykov took from Violetta being here as well. And then corpse started moving! Kisegach panicked and prepared to run, only for Bykov to appear and grab her from behind. Then corpse arise completely, removing the cover, and turns out what it was Kupitman -- and all of this was his and Bykov's prank on Kisegach!

Gleb, after dealing with Lyuba's "help", told Alexei what from now on, girls would stop fall for him since he isn't nearly a match for Gleb. Then one attractive girl asked Gleb... to introduce her to Lyosha, this time without any Lyuba's influence. Angry Gleb used Lyuba's tactic, lying what Lyuba is Alexei's jealous wife, and it would be too dangerous to try this.

When asked just ''why'' he did all this, Bykov revealed what this is his little vengeance for being constantly pressed about need to start doing something scientific; he is too busy with patients, he has no time for science! If he would... well, then he would try something "funny", like this Frankenstein-esque dark "science".

Phil was so cute and romantic, now Katia wouldn't dump him even for the money Polina offered her. She even bribed ''them'' so they wouldn't tell anything to Phil and ruin his -- and her -- only chance at happiness.
