* DefangedHorrors: Despite claiming the giant bug is dangerous to both the Urpneys and the Noops, the Dream Maker manages to negotiate and even nonchalantly feed it. In it's reappearance in "Wildit's Whistle" it enters the Land of Dreams with no wrathful intent except to again scare off the Urpneys, implying it was playing ferocious to dupe them into leaving the heroes alone.

With the Dreamstone's power dwindling, the Dream Maker and his friends take it to Planet Dreamstone to be recharged. The Urpneys attempt to ambush them, until both groups crash on the Dark Side, but all make it back to their respective places.

!!Tropes featured in the episode:

* CoyoteVsRoadRunner: The Urpneys borrow from this trope even more than usual, planting numerous failed booby traps to capture the heroes.
* EnemyMine: The Dream Maker deals with the giant bug in return for the Urpneys releasing them. Possibly subverted, as the episode (and it's follow up appearance) leaves it ambiguous as to how ferocious the monster truly was.
* ItsBehindYou: The Dream Maker warns the Urpneys of the incoming giant bug.
* MassOhCrap: The Urpneys seeing the bug behind them, though Blob's [[DelayedReaction reaction is delayed]].
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: Frizz and Nug make a retreat after saved by the monster, and drag a rather unwilling Blob into the ship with them.
