Martha is able to safely get on [[Recap/TheAmericansS4E7TravelAgents the plane Arkady and Tatiana arranged for her]], and is able to land safely in Cuba, from where she'll fly to Prague and, eventually, to Moscow. However, Philip wants Gabriel to call Martha's parents about this sooner rather than later. Elizabeth and Philip still have tension between them. It comes out after Elizabeth goes to an EST meeting, and she and Philip get into an argument about Martha and other things that have been stewing between them. Elizabeth also snaps at Paige when she doesn't want to go see Pastor Tim anymore, telling Paige it's the only way to make sure their family stays safe. Even Gabriel sees the tension between them, and complains to Claudia about it. However, when Elizabeth meets up with Lisa, and is forced to kill her when Lisa threatens to spill the beans, Gabriel sees how shaken both Elizabeth and Philip are about it, and decides they need a break, so he tells them to scale down their work schedule, only keeping up with Young-Hee and the bug at Kimmy's father's house. So, Elizabeth and Philip spend more time with Paige and Henry, though they make sure Paige also spends time with Pastor Tim and his family.
